My poem that captures the ache of unrequited love. |
I stand where shadows kiss the ground, And whisper your name where none reply. Your laughter drifts like summer sound, Yet turns from me, a distant sky. I reach for sparks that never bloom, A hand stretched toward a fading light. My heart a quiet, hollow room, Where echoes dance alone at night. You move in colors I can’t hold, A sun that warms but never stays. And I, a story left untold, Trace your path in endless maze. Yet still I love, though love denies, Though hope may bleed, and time may sever. I drink the pain, I taste the skies, And love you silently forever. |
