Just a poem for my son's birthday.

Happy Birthday!

I watched tiny
you on the apartment balcony,
calling to the soap bubbles
you blew—ascending,
descending, fading away.

Now you drift
on the breath of time,
tall and radiant,
shining with a light no hand can hold.
