SNOWFLAKE



Snowflakes falling endlessly.
No end in sight. Coating every branch,
Over and over, turning the outside
World into a black-and-white etching.
Four degrees. Freezing cold. The birds flock
Loving our feeders where they eat ravenously.
All over, no room at the inn. Yet they
Know and take their turns.
Enough for all in the endless snow.
