based on my true love story |
| Recalling the Dream Sam Adams Always recalled The special day that he met His fate And ended his lonely life When he met and married The love of his life Reminiscing about the dream That brought them together In his dream He fell asleep In his class And saw The most beautiful women In the universe Speaking to him In a weird foreing language He was mesmerized Her love mojo Putting a spell on him For eight years She haunted his dreams But he knew that someday She would become his wife darling, honey And special eternal Valentine Then one day his hopes Were realized She walked off a bus In South Korea Into his life He looked at her With excitement It was her The girl in the dream The next night She was waiting for him At his class They went out for coffee She told him He was hers And she was his Love at first sight As sparks flew From heart to heart A few days later He had a surprise for her After dinner Over coffee and red chocolate cake He proposed to her Promising to be always Her man She hugged him Kissed his cheek And said βyesβ Six weeks later They married, Romance is in the air, and I see fluttering hearts as well as sweet words everywhere. I always been in love with words, especially poetry, for me, they are like flowers that have their own beauty, they are able to last their fragrance, and will stay in ones' heart. Some of these are: Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate. Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer's lease hath all too short a date. . (exerpt From William Shakesphere-Sonnet 18) Or like some all time favorite love poems: "if each day, each hour, you feel that you are destined for me with implacable sweetness, if each day a flower climbs up to your lips to seek me, ah my love, ah my own, in me all that fire is repeated, in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten, my love feeds on your love, beloved, and as long as you live it will be in your arms without leaving mine. (excerpt from if-you-forget-me-by-pablo-neruda) Or like the poetry of our Mr. Heart Throb Poet 2025 here in WDC wonder Land. We shared that springtime day and many more on walks, and talked of winters and of springs. We talked of life upon a distant shore, until at length, we talked of wedding rings. (Excerpt from (292) - "Our Walk With Love --- A Sonnet" So I am searching now for poets who will be going to make my heart throb through scribbling words in the poetic form- Romance Genre.
