You’re the hidden treasure my heart holds forever

Private Island

My eyes only see you—
not the crowd,
not the noise,
not the endless passing faces.

Just you.

Your imperfections
are the map lines
that lead me home.
The crooked edges,
the quiet doubts you carry—
they are the brushstrokes
that make you my perfect.

Not flawless.
Not polished.
But real.

And real is rare.

My heart holds you
like forbidden treasure—
buried deep beneath ribs and ruin,
guarded by tides
no one else can cross.

You are the gold
I never speak of,
the secret shore
of my private island.

Where the world cannot trespass.
Where storms cannot steal.
Where even silence
knows your name.

If loving you is exile,
then let me be stranded—
sunburned by your light,
shipwrecked in your arms,
hiding you
like the most sacred thing
I have ever found.
