I Hate Winter

For my people who don't like cold weather and want summer everyday!!

I'd rather not be like a bot,
sitting in a knot,
rotting away.
I want to be outside, in the warmth,
being out to play.
Snow sucks,
it's wet and cold.
Give me some lemonade on a hot summer day,
and I'm sold.
Comfort and cozy by the fire may give me an excuse,
to not leave the house and move a tire,
but swimming is what I truly desire.
I'd much rather use a fan, and
get heatstroke from trying to tan,
rather than sitting at home,
looking pale like Edward Scissorhands.
