What should Jessie & James do after Team Rocket disbands?

Poll Question:
In my research to bring the Pokémon game, anime, and manga into one continuity, I've decided that Giovanni should disband Team Rocket like in the game and manga. That still leaves what I should do with Jessie & James.

Retire
Jessie, James, and Meowth simply retire. Yea, they're Ash's main foe, but he still has every other evil Team to face off against.

Freelance
They maintain they're hunt for Pikachu, but they're now freelance. Loyal only to each other.

Madame Boss
After Giovanni leaves, Madame Boss takes over the organisation. Due to their loyalty to Team Rocket, they follow their new boss.

Petrel
With Giovanni gone, Petrel refuses to let Team Rocket fade so easily. After calling out to his boss to return, and getting no response, he decided to maintain being the leader, so the dream they were founded on doesn't die.

Giovanni
Even after being defeated by Ethan, he's compelled to return to Team Rocket out of loyalty. While somewhat humbled from being defeated twice, his dream of conquest hasn't dimmed.
