another poem about a beautiful woman

When she walks through the door, my body senses her with warm anticipation.
Her scent surrounds me as she wraps her arms around me.

Her coppery eyes pierce my soul as we share our innermost feelings and thoughts.
She embraces me with those eyes.

She pauses mid‑sentence and leans toward me.
We kiss softly at first.

Her hair feels good in my hand as I caress her face.
I touch her with one finger, softly tracing the lines of her lips, her cheeks,
around her ears, through her hair.

She looks at me and cries the tiniest of tears.
They don’t taste salty.

She kisses my neck softly, sending wakes of lightning through my body.

We’re in the car park, kissing passionately.
I pull her body close to mine.
She presses herself against me, the skin of her back so soft.

She kisses me again and whispers,
“The moon is beautiful, isn’t it…”

And when she finally pulls away,
the night closes around me like an empty plate,
and I realize how hungry I still am
for the taste of her name in my mouth........Votre Encre Noire
