Hi Im Writer Chuck. I am a retired contractor. I found that I enjoyed writing in the 1990s. I was active in my association and became the president of my local. Part of my duties as president was to write a story or an article each month for our newsletter. I also belong to a writers group at church. I started writing poetry, I found it to be relaxing. I have now been writing poetry for several years. Poetry also teaches one a lot about the basic skills of writing.
