I worked in sales and the beauty business for 20 years before reinventing myself as a freelance writer and college student. After selling an essay for $35, I wrote columns and articles for the Pittsburgh Tribune Review from 1991 till 2010. I published pieces in magazines and online writing sites.
My fiction languishes in musty folders, because I'm endlessly fascinated by the world beyond the window by my desk, and also because I'm a procrastinator when not under deadline.
I live in the USA, in rural South Central Pa, but am a Maryland native. My husband, our dog and cat, spend time here with me.
