Howdy! My name is Michael Welge. I was a published writer who had done a good deal of editing before I was a WDC member from 2003-05. From the end of 2005 until 2010, I did lots of reading and no writing, so I returned to rebuild my writing skills. For a while, I spent many hours writing and editing on the Wikipedia. Lately, I've mostly been editing on a couple of specialty websites. I also used to give out some awards to promising writers here at Writing.com, so maybe I'll do more reading here and get back into doing that; we'll see.
