Was AWOL from here from 2016 to March 2024 (work/wife's health issues/side business)

Update May 2024: Great to have written a few things here after being "in limbo" for such a long period of time. Barring any catastrophes, hope to be back on track by the end of the year. (I've discovered that writing isn't like riding a bike)...

Update late June 2024: Wife has some new health issues and I will probably disappear for a while until we get some answers...

Update mid-July '26: Wife hospitalized for other issues, dementia is now her primary adversary...
