I used to wish to be a novel writer, however, my writing has taken another direction. I started the Time Machine as a novel but realized I would never be able to finish such a project and decided to change it to a short story. The result, in my opinion is much stronger. I am planning a couple of other short stories so hopefully they won't take as long to write as this one did.
