I am a writer of sad poetry, I have experienced a lot of death in my life and writing poetry gives me a place to release the pain. Wisskobi Ode is Ojibwe. It is the name my grandmother called me, she translated it to Dear Heart but it is really Sweet Heart as there is no word for dear in Ojibwe. She is the reason I am a poet today, as a child she told this quiet and sad girl to "write it, write whats in your heart". I did and have never stopped.
