Summary of this Book...
The debut novel from Stephen Chbosky, set in the early 90s, follows observant "wallflower" Charlie as he tries to map his course through the strange world between adolescence and adulthood. First dates, family drama, and new friends, sex, drugs, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Devastating loss, young love, and life on the fringes. Charlie is caught between trying to live his life and trying to run from it, Charlie must learn to navigate those wild and roller-coaster days known as growing up.
I especially liked... | ||
That the narrator, Charlie, writes this as a journal. Or a letter to a 'Friend' as he calls it.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read more, as I did not want it to end.
This Book made me feel...

I recommend this Book because...
It is an excellent read for a young adult who is going through tough times with all that life has to throw at you during that age. Charlie was thrown about throughout this book in more ways than you can imagine. It is a beautifully written book that will make you sad, horrified, and happy throughout the read.
