Fallon was a wonderful heroine. She was spunky, bright, and a bit of an "everyday" girl. Her past was very painful so seeing her achieve success as a courtesan with morals was rewarding.

The typical romantic foibles, but it is a romance so it's to be expected.

The author of this book is Shana Galen. She writes historical regency romances with compelling storylines and interesting characters.

There's a good romantic formula and both the hero and heroine have an interesting backstory.

This is a wonderful romance with memorable characters and a storyline that will melt your heart. The ending is a tad unresolved - who it is that Warrick was after, but I believe it's left open to pave way for the next book. Aside from the mystery of the story, the relationship between Fallon and Warrick does find an ending that readers will appreciate. I'm giving story plot a 4 for not resolving the mystery, but resolving the romance between the hero & heroine.
