How honest the tone of the writing is. Charlotte really grew up in some wild times. She got to know Jim Morrison, Elvis, Kevin Bacon and more.

While I appreciated Charlotte's memory on Eraserhead, I just wasn't that thrilled. Eraserhead was a pretty creepy movie.

Watch an episode of Little House on Prairie with Miss Beadle and thank Charlotte for being so honest in her book.

That there's hope when you're facing challenges. And Charlotte had challenges - with alcohol, cancer, and being happy.

It's a reflection of the times. Charlotte comes of age in the 60's and takes us through the decades of her life with honesty and aplumb.

This isn't a tale for the faint of the heart.

When I was waiting to waiting to meet Charlotte the lady in front of me told me her Miss Beadle character inspired her to become a teacher. Charlotte gets that lot. I thought that was heartwarming to have touched so many people in such a positive way. I'm glad that she's found happiness after so many years of finding her way. The book is filled with honesty, heart and resilience and if you're a fan of Little House on the Prairie, you'll enjoy the highs and lows of Charlotte's adventures.

PS - I can't believe I gave this book all 5's but I did. It's THAT good.
