I am on the verge of retirement and have always enjoyed writing. I wrote my first book when I was in my early teens. Since copy machines and computers were not available at that time, I only had the primary copy and the carbon copy (a real carbon copy). Both were given to friends to read and never returned. I worked overseas in construction for most of my career, but my wife maintained our home in the US to which I returned three years ago.
