About Me
I have been writing stories since I was about nine years old. When I was ten, I received an old manual typewriter for Christmas, and that was the beginning of a wonderful part of my life. In the 1990s I became the Editor of a local newsletter for an organization in the small town where I live in Florida. At about the same time, I joined a "Write Your Life History" class in Gainesville, Florida, taught by Dr. Hilda Ross.
Writing Style
I'm afraid I don't know what my writing style is. I need a multiple choice to help me here.
Wow! Interests. Writing, of course. Local history, and American history. Elvis Presley (huge) fan.
Favorite Books
I can't seem to sit still long enough to read a book - but can sit for hours at my computer, creating stories. I read "Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil" when it came out in the eighties, and it took me six months to read it.
Favorite Authors
Mark Twain (an ancestor of mine) is the only author I can think of.
Favorite Music
Elvis music - and music from the fifties, sixties and seventies.
Favorite Movies
Shawshank Redemption, Bridges of Madison County, Tootsie.
Favorite Shows
Harry's Law, (too bad they cancelled it), Anger Management, The Profit.
