Hello my dear friends,

I know it's been a while... okay a ridiculously long time. I have been working hard helping people with disabilities, a very rewarding but extremely tough job. You really have to enjoy helping people to do this. For myself, I simply love it because I think of my mom and her disabilities and I treat everyone like I would my family, unfortunately I've had some health issues with my heart and had to cut my hours way back. This is actually good for my mom, after her brain surgery she has needed a lot of my time and also enjoys seeing her beautiful granddaughter at the same time. So everything worked out.

What do you all think of what's going on with Covid-19? It's scary too me but I also feel like I'm in a dream and I'm going to wake up soon. It's weird seeing so many places closed and empty and staying home so much. I like to look at the positive in things as much as possible and I have had more time to paint and write but I still can't help but worry about my loved ones. So many of my family members have autoimmune deficiencies and underlying conditions. I have made them all masks and we all sanitize before and after everywhere we go. Also, I have been tipping like crazy for all of those people out exposing themselves to make sure the rest of us have what we need.

Love you all and stay safe,

Today was an interesting day. Josie was crying most of last night, so I didn't get any sleep and was super tired at work and mixing my words 😴. I'm pretty sure I told a client to have a great date, I meant to say day. πŸ™„πŸ˜

I consumed five cups of coffee today, one of which was slow dripped. Somehow my coffee did the opposite and made me more tired, but it sure was yummy! πŸ˜‹β˜•

I noticed mother's day is coming too fast. I really want to plan something special for my mom. I know she loves 'The Who' so maybe a musical gift πŸ’½. She also loves tie-dye, so there's another idea. πŸ€” I'm not much of a gift card person, I like specially picking gifts out.

Thank you for reading, have a great date! 😊

Hello everyone,

I know I haven't had as much if an online presence. Josie keeps me happily busy, when I'm not working my butt off at work that is. I worked 60 hours this week to help out my boss, definitely not doing that again, I feel so drained this week and not even physically really, just mentally, but I don't regret helping out. I work for a senior care company coordinating the schedule for caregivers to meet with clients and my job requires a lot of strategy moving things around to make the impossible happen. I do love what I do, that it helps people with their daily lives. I always knew I wanted to work for a company that helps people. It started with my mom whom was diagnosed with MS. She has a lot of pain and trouble doing things on her own and helping her made me think of all of the other people out there that may need the help, some not as fortunate having a family member to help with these things.

I remember my interview to be a caregiver when I got started 5 years ago, I had already helped my mom for so long and I was confident in what I could do. I started taking nursing classes at the community college for a transfer program as well and was doing exceptional. I can't believe how much things have evolved. I have been promoted since then, got married and now my baby girl is almost one year old. I'm proud of what I've achieved, but there's still so much I want and plan to do. And my dear husband really makes me feel like I can do anything! :)

Thanks for stopping by,

*Quill* Hello dear friends,

I have my cafe la llave coffee and I am starting to feel functional this morning *CoffeeP*. I am sorry I haven't written on here for a bit. I've been busy. I went back to work in senior care part time, I really missed my job, to be able to help people with their daily lives is truly uplifting *Sun* . I was going about my day and they actually called me and asked me to come back and I was very happy, I felt bad for having to leave when I had my daughter. I did however cry my first day back at work, I missed my little Josie so much. She stays with grandma (my mother-in-law) while I'm at work. I know she's in great hands so at least I have that comfort. *Smile*

My baby girl Josie *BabyGirl* recently turned 7 months old and she now has 6 teeth (4 on top, 2 on the bottom). She seems to think the dog is funny looking, she giggles every time Leia (our dog) gets close. She is just such a happy baby and so sweet, we are so blessed. *HeartT*

That's it for now.

Hello everyone,

I did some artwork this week. It was my friends birthday who is battling cancer and I wanted to draw something special for him to brighten his day. Any prayers would be greatly appreciated, his name is DJ.

Freehand drawing of an eagle.

Sorry, I haven't blogged recently. I'm just not sure it's for me and I'm trying to figure that out. I love to write, but I enjoy writing things that help, inspire, bring joy, and fun to others. I love writing poetry and short stories, although, my grammar can use a lot of work I've been told in not so many words. I think my blog is more of just a diary.

Hello my dear friends,

I haven't had my coffee yet today, so that's on my mental to do list. I just got done feeding my daughter as she always comes first.

Now I'm just relaxing and replying to all of my thank you emails for the reviews I did last night.

Today is going to be a busy day. I'm going with my husband to my in-laws to watch the game and also for Josie to visit her grandparents. We always have a lot of fun there, my mother-in-law is so sweet and a good cook, and my father-in-law always makes me laugh. I love them and I'm lucky to have good in-laws.

In other news, I created a new contest "Once Upon A Contest . It's going very well so far, a good number of contestants. I love fairytale's so this was so special for me to do. As soon as I get done drawing it out I'm going to commission a MB for it as well. I can't wait for that. I think this contest will be good fun for everyone and I'm so excited to read all of the entries and I'm kind of curious how many will go with Grimm fairytale's and how many will go with the happy ending.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

*Sun* Hello Lovelies,

Today has been a great day, my little baby girl is all smiles today and I just had my 3rd cup of coffee, or was it my 4th... Oh well, Anyway, I love coffee, besides being super tasty, it keeps me going. If I were to say my favorite type of coffee, I think it would be "CafΓ© La LLave" an espresso blend.

I have fibromyalgia and I lack the energy that most people normally have since my chronic pains kind of take a lot out of me, it gets exhausting. I don't like to take medications, once my doctor had me on like 5 different medications for my fibromyalgia. I have gone all natural and use calming techniques along with herbs and things to help. My main go to is Thunder God Root, it helps me way more than anything else I've tried. It's an ancient Chinese remedy and still helps many people around the world. I even suggested to my mother as it also helps with arthritis and she has rheumatoid arthritis.

I am also a big fan of Tea Tree. Did you know there are multiple remedies with the use of tea tree. I can use tea tree for cuts as it naturally cleanses a wound and quickens the healing process. My husband is a type 1 juvenile diabetic and uses the tea tree oil for his nails to keep them healthy, you can also use tea tree if you get a small blemish, you just dab a small drop on the blemish and it usually goes away the next day. My favorite use for tea tree oil is making my daily toner with it for my face, I mix a small amount (about two drops of tea tree oil) with 1/2 cup of witch hazel and use that as my toner. I also use tea tree oil in my Epsom bath as it's a very calming herb.

Are you having an off day, feeling a little under the weather? make a broth and put a large piece of ginger root in it. Ginger root helps get rid of colds and it is so healthy for you. Maybe you are not a soup person like me. You can always put ginger root in your tea yumm! It's especially good with chamomile in my opinion.

Maybe you're having anxiety. Maybe you're trouble with your sugar levels and they don't stay balanced very well. Try adding some cinnamon to your meals or drinks. Cinnamon naturally helps regulate sugar levels and it also helps with stress.

I also find that lemongrass is great for stress or relaxation. I love making my special lemongrass tea.

Hello my friends,

I feel like I need to vent. Many times I wonder (like today) when I see a pregnant woman smoking, why doesn't she see It's wrong to smoke while she's pregnant?! I recall this article I saw about a study that was done that showed that babies actually cringe and grab their face in distress as the mother is smoking. So sad. 😒
Please don't smoke when you're pregnant!

And another thing that is on my mind, I saw on the news they were showing typical stuff like the weather etc. and then someone had suggested leaving something in the backseat of importance to remember your child in the backseat. Isn't your child important? Why do some parents need a reminder that they have a child
in the car?

That's my rant for the day. Please share your thoughts.

Hello WDC family,

So today was an interesting day. My mom found a poem I wrote in first grade, pretty awesome *Smirk*. Also, I got to show my mom how to use writing.com. She likes to write, but she has never shown anyone any of her writing. She thinks I'm some kind of poetry guru (definitely not lol), but mom's always think their children are the best! So she got her first poem up today, please, if you can stop by her port, welcome her or look at her poem and let her know what you think at Michele Albrecht , I'm sure she would love a warm welcome.

In other news, I did some shopping today for fall decor. I say, it's not too early to start decorating for the fall and I'm really excited. The first item I found today was a fall salt and pepper shaker for the dining room table and it's super duper cute, the salt and pepper shaker are pumpkins. I need to find a centerpiece but didn't see one I liked today. I also love doing crafts so I'm going to make some items too, maybe a wreath and some coasters or something, we'll see. *Leaf2R* *Leaf2O* *Pumpkin2*

I was shopping with my mom today and one of the places we stopped, we heard barking in the parking lot and it was very hot outside. We were both worried, so we had to look around and make sure no one left their dog in the car, I don't know why some people do that, it's terrible to leave your animal in a hot car, it could kill them. I'm glad to say it was just an owner waiting for his wife with the dog in the car, keeping his dog company with the windows open. My mother and I went back to our day and I even found a doggy stuffed animal for Josie since she loves doggies too.

Well, that's all for now! Ta Ta

Picture of Josie looking up for my blog

Hello my dear friends,

Today was a great day. I started it out by giving a homeless man one of my ice cold soda's since I didn't have cash on me (I rarely carry cash). I felt bad that all I had in my bag was diet soda and later asked my mother what she thought and she said "he was probably happy to get a cold drink on such a hot day."

I still wish I would have had more to give him. I even thought of this clever idea to carry backpacks with various items in them, like hygienic stuff and military food pouches, etc. to keep a couple at a time in the car for emergencies if see someone asking for help. Do you think that's a good idea?

I got a lot done, although it was tough. My fibromyalgia has flared up again so I haven't felt very well. It has been months since a flare up, I got used to feeling like a person again. What can you do, c'est la vie. I'll just my usual and focus on the positive. *Smirk2*

Josie is growing like a weed. She is getting so good at sitting up! Pretty soon she'll be the boss of this place. Oh wait, she already is the boss. *BabyGirl* She's gotten to the point where she is reaching out for the dog "Leia" to pet her. Sooo cute! *Dog1*

Also, I got to see my sister this week, it was really nice because we don't get to see each other often. Plus, Josie loves her Auntie Jenn. My sister is a really smart and kind lady, she has done many things from microbiology to law school. She also loves volunteer work.

I love my fam. ❀

If any of you would like to try and plan it out and do a good deed for the day. Let me know about it and how it went. I love hearing good stories and I love helping people.
