I decided to open a 'main' blog to vent since life is so freaking good!
I'm pretty outspoken because, so what? God knows everything anyway!|
Let me tell you about my life. When I was 22, I hydroplaned into a bridge and ended up trapped between the steering wheel which was jammed into the front seat on my right side, and the concrete bridge which was jammed into my left side.. My car had spun completely around until it was facing directly opposite of the way I was headed. The steering wheel cracked my ribs and punctured my right lung. Blood filled the lung and I was drowning, unconscious, and broken when somebody finally saw the crashed car on the backwoods deserted road.
Thank God the Fire Department was finally able to get me out with the Jaws of Life.
My mom got 'the' phone call from the sheriff department at 4 AM Christmas morning. I had a boyfriend who had stayed home because he'd passed out before the party and I took off by myself. We lived together and was raising our son who was 9 months old. The rescue workers had seen the baby carrier in the car and left some workers there to search the swamp area on each side of the road. My mother had the baby on that night because we were supposed to go to a Christmas party. See how God works?
|Ya know, even with all the crap the goes on, God is ultimately working for our good! Each and every one of us!
What might seem bad one day, in time we know it was for our good!
Isn't it awesome the way God knows how to manage everybody's life all at the same time?!
Back then, and for many years, I was trying to get my life back right. It was so hard because each side of your brain controls the opposite side of your body ... So, the left side of my brain was very damaged, however, it messed up the right side of my body which had not been damaged much at all... except the lung.
So, most of the bones in my left side were crushed against the bridge but my right side had practically no movement because of the injury to the left side of my brain Omgosh! It was so frustrating trying to learn to feed myself because I'm right-handed! ...It's kind of funny 'now' but not then.
