Originally Published in Blog on July 16, 2017 by Convention Of States Project Today began as all conferences do – with hot coffee, warm conversation, and an assortment of breakfast pastries. But what happened next here in Williamsburg, Virginia, made the Simulated Convention of States a “conference” like none other. The one hundred and thirty four commissioners from all fifty states left their breakfast tables and began the hard work of trying to save America. It began by electing a Convention President. Several great candidates were up for the task, and one by one representatives from each state stood to cast their vote. When the votes were tallied, no consensus had been reached. A murmur spread throughout the room. Unexpected! Those who’d received fewer votes graciously stepped aside, and the commissioners voted again. And again. Eventually, Ken Ivory of Utah was elected. Seeing the commissioners’ eagerness to serve, followed immediately by their willingness to step aside was inspirational. The committee meetings that followed were less “inspirational” and more “hard work.” Commissioners broke into three committees: 1. Fiscal Restraint Committee 2. Federal Legislative and Executive Jurisdiction Committee 3 Term Limits and Federal Judicial Jurisdiction Committee Each committee began by electing a committee chair, followed by a time of discussion. After a quick lunch — though some worked right through lunch — the commissioners voted on the amendment proposals. I began my time in the fiscal restraint committee, then eavesdropped on a more casual subcommittee meeting discussing legislative jurisdiction. It was such an honor to listen in on these principled conversations, the back and forth amongst the people from all over the nation. No matter which committee I dropped in on, everyone's proposals limited the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, imposed fiscal restraints, and placed term limits on federal officials. What I heard – even underlying the most vehement disagreements – was hope. What if we did this…. Or what if we did that instead? Or, do you think it would fix this issue if we resolved to do this? “One thing I learned,” a commissioner from a southern state told me, “is that this is a sober undertaking.” While the commissioners were deliberating, I slipped away to give the readers of National Review a behind-the-scenes peek at this historic moment. After hours of deliberations, the commissioners emerged from their committee rooms looking tired but energized. Then, because this is Colonial Williamsburg, they were escorted to dinner by fife and drum. As the commissioners finished up dinner and prepared to turn in for the evening, they chatted before parting ways. Many of their conversations were looking back. (Alexander Hamilton meant this when he said… I think people misunderstand Jefferson’s statement on…) But just as importantly, people were looking forward. Not just to another breakfast line when people can greet each other around the coffee pots for another day of another convention. Not even forward to tomorrow’s debate over the proposed amendments. What makes this “conference” different than any other is that our commissioners — our patriots — are looking forward to a better day in America when the citizens have the power that DC has tried to take from us. But they’re doing more than looking forward to that day. By their hard work, they’re actually doing something to make that day come sooner. I’m honored to be a witness to this historic event. It’s even more meaningful when an idea, born originally of our Founding Fathers, is made manifest in modern times. The Founding Fathers knew a thing or two about human nature… they knew that the government would inevitably make errors. They even envisioned a time when the federal government might grow so large that it would become corrupt, onerous, and unwieldy. James Madison wrote in The Federalist, that Article V gives us an amendment procedure which lets future generations correct mistakes to make whatever “useful alterations will be suggested by experience.” But what if the government gets too big and corrupt to voluntarily restrict itself? That’s why we’re here. That’s why state legislators from all over the nation are here to delve deeply into this process and change this nation. Last night, I felt the need to welcome everyone for coming. Here’s what I said. This is a message not only to people who are here, but to all Americans who are ready to save this nation. Declaration of Independence from the Communist Democrats The history of the communist democratic party and the extreme left is of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having the direct object to establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these United States of America. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world. --Joe Biden has refused to obey the law of the land, our immigrations laws, and does not and will not support the defense of our borders against invasion from foreign actors. --Joe Biden and the communist democrats in congress have endorsed 'Critical Race Theory' (CRT), that divides our country by race and is a complete doctrine of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party), spewing forth hate for this country. --Joe Biden and the communist democrats in congress have pushed this CCP doctrine onto our children in elementary, middle and high schools. --CRT supports the 'woke' cancel culture of this age that violates our 1st amendment in Freedom of Speech. --Joe Biden canceled and breached contracts with Canada for our energy independence with the Keystone Pipeline, putting thousands of people out of work, with no relief or compensation in return for destroying their communities and career traditions. --Joe Biden and the communist democrats in congress are passing tax laws that will be exorbitant on middle class Americans eating up any income we earn. --Joe Biden and the communist democrats have passed tax laws onto industrial corporations giving them incentive to move their factories out of America to foreign soil, therefor depriving Americans of work. --Joe Biden and the communist democrats in congress have sent our tax dollars to known terrorists and enemies of our country, aiding and abetting them in acquiring nuclear weapons to be used on America and our allies. --Joe Biden and the communist democrats in congress have passed bills spending trillions of dollars, stating funds are for infrastructure that are not infrastructure, as well as other bills that are deceitful in title; therefore devaluing our currency and causing inflation on purpose. --Joe Biden and the communist democrats in government in all capacities have supported and financed BLM and Antifa to attack our police, burn our government buildings, destroy our national monuments and burn our local businesses to the ground, rioting and looting any business that gets in their way. --BLM and Antifa are communist terrorists and they have allowed them and actually cheered them on to riot and loot businesses and murder Americans. Also communist democrats in congress and the senate have posted bail for same criminals so they are out of jail or changed bail laws so that these criminals are arrested and released the next day to go out and commit more crime --Joe Biden and the communist democrats of congress are infringing on our 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms. --Joe Biden and communist democrats of congress have continually put themselves above the law, and are not prosecuted for their many crimes of treason and crimes against humanity --Joe Biden and communist democrats of congress have committed fraud in our elections by way of mail in voting laws that were passed by governors not by legislators in states, therefor violating constitutional law. (Federal and State Constitutions). --Joe Biden and his administration have purposely refused to uphold law and order in our country, or in Washington D.C. and allowed communist democrats in congress to radicalize and tear down our republic and constitution. --Joe Biden and communist democrats of congress in government that are running the country at this time are sabotaging and committing treason against the American People In every stage of these Oppressions We have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. We therefore, the people of the United States of America, assemble, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name, and by the authority of the good people of these United States, solemnly publish and declare, that these United States, and of Right ought to be free and independent states; that they are absolved from all allegiance to the communist democratic party in particular, and that political connection between them and the communist democratic party, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as free and independent people, we have full power to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliances, establish commerce and to do all other acts and things which independent people may have the right to do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our Sacred Honor. |
| My Replies 1. There is no absolute truth—only competing narratives. It sees “lived experiences” as mattering more than facts. My Answer: Nothing matters more than facts. Feelings and Thoughts are NOT facts, they are feelings and thoughts. They are merely a personal, completely subjective reflection of facts. Lived experiences? These pushers of Critical Race Theory are not 80 year old people with a lifetime of systemic racism oppressing them all of their life. These are children that have no clue what a tough life really is. They don't know our history as America, the many changes we've seen and they just don't seem to know that our Constitution is the only thing between us and complete tyranny. That is the one fact we all need to realize. Teachers need to teach our children about our history, not this fictional story of how our country is systemically racist. Working hard for what you want is not racist. It builds character, and makes one appreciate what one has. 2. Individuals are either an oppressor or victim. You are predetermined by immutable characteristics such as race to fall into either category. Culture is defined by groups exercising power over each other. My Answer: Dead wrong again. The only power play going on right now is Antifa and BLM pushing this Critical Race Theory down our throats. The Democratic Party is making the biggest power play in human history, so that they have all the power and control EVERY aspect of your life. They are not even the Democratic Party anymore, they are American Communist Marxists. Socialism, Marxism, Communism DO NOT WORK. History has played this hand time and time again to the tune of millions of people starving to death, being incinerated in cremation ovens, and gassed in large quantities to be thrown into unmarked, mass graves. We need to teach our children to READ, WRITE and do ARITHMETIC, not give them a lifetime of a pity party because they are born of one race or another. In this capitalist society they have the opportunity to change the circumstances they were born into by working hard, educating themselves and keeping their families together. There are no sacred cows. 3. America is systemically racist and must be dismantled. It sees America as having been founded on the system of capitalism, which is racist, and therefore must be disrupted. My Answer: How is Capitalism racist when it has lifted so many people out of poverty? We have lifted people out of poverty that have been there for centuries, due to their socialist/communist governments. Free markets and the ability to change your station in life is what capitalism is all about. Is it perfect? No, it is not perfect. But nothing in this life is perfect. You don't get something for nothing. You either work your butt off for it or you fail, until you do it again and do it right. If teachers fill our children's heads with this lying critical race theory, they will sentence them to a life time of poverty and slavery to the state governments that will determine everything they think, feel, eat, say, read or love. Sooner or later the middle class will be eliminated, and there will be no one left to tax and punish to give reparations to those who claim they deserve it. Why would anyone want to be a victim? To think yourself incapable of making it on your own, becoming self sufficient. Do you really want to be depending on a Marxist government that lies to you all the time? A Marxist government that cheats in every election where your voice NEVER matters? A Marxist government that hates your country, hates you and everything you stand for? How depressing. That is what the Marxist Democratic party and this Critical Race Theory are offering you and your children.. The Marxist Democratic Congress, these Marxist people have stolen our money, our wealth, by taxing us to poverty, they have stolen our country, by cheating and lying and killing every thing that stands in their way of power, they have used our Constitution as toilet paper, and it is time we put a STOP to their tyranny. Teachers need to teach our children the U.S. Constitution. What it means, it's real history and how we arrived at the final draft and where we are today. They need to teach our children to have pride in the greatest country on earth. If America is so racist, why does everyone want to come here? Why are our borders being overwhelmed with refugees? Everyone wants to come to America, because it is the greatest country ever conceived. This country was born of principals and ethics. A government was formed of “We the People”, by the people for the people. We are far from perfect, but we are the closest thing anyone has ever seen to Freedom, Liberty and Justice for all. According to The Constitution of the United States of America, Amendment XIV, Section III, and I quote; “No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.” Now what this says to me is these Governors and Mayors in these Democratic States and Cities, that have participated in this insurrection, that has been going on for approximately the last three months, can no longer hold office in their respective states. These are NOT protests, not even close to peaceful assembly to address our government for grievances, as is guaranteed by the First Amendment to our Bill of Rights. These are insurrections and riots as they want to replace Capitalism with Socialism/Communism. They are cancelling people’s lives, careers, etc., with the sole intent of insurrection to the United States of America. They are being funded by George Soros and the DNC (Democratic National Committee/Convention), and every Democratic Congressman/woman including nasty Nancy Pelosi, have been cheering them on. It’s time to tell these insurrectionists that their time is DONE. They are breaking the LAW. And NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO THINK THEY ARE KING/QUEEN. (c) 2020 |

With the vengeance of this current administration of Joe Biden, threatening to cancel our employment because we supported Trump instead of him, sending our tax monies to people who do not deserve it nor have they earned it, while we are starving to death in the streets due to his abuse of power to strike employment numbers in such large amounts as it decimates entire regions, We are reduced to the alternative of choosing an unconditional submission to the tyranny of an elected President, or resistance by force. The latter is our choice. We have counted the cost of this contest, and find nothing so dreadful as voluntary slavery.
