Think Mother

   Mother's Day.

HI.

I watched season one of Ballard on my Kindle. Nine hours of straight detective story. Some of the family sent Happy Mothers Day greetings and one of my sons and his wife stopped by for a short visit.

I cooked tilapia and vegetables for dinner with pudding for dessert. In all it was a quiet day at home. This is, kind of the way, a lot of holidays have been in the last year. Winter was just one storm after another. The end of la...[Read Full Post]

Growing Up and Always

    HI. GROWTH AND CHANGE

Growth is inevitable. It takes different forms. Sometimes because of experience and sometimes because of added education.

Adding knowledge gives a person ability to incorporate changes to life. You can't force aging. Change can be forced by experience and life long friendships. Sometimes experience just works toward change. As a nation we have changed because of introduced technology. I guess that is the case all over the e...[Read Full Post]

Dimentional Thinking

   Where am I........?

HI! "Many a man curses the rain that falls upon his head and knows not, that it brings abundance, to drive away the hunger." by Saint Basil by way of the Pour Over.

Where am I right now? I went looking for Longitude and latitude. Could not find an app to tell me where I am. Actually there are 3 coordinates plus time. Longitude, Latitude, and altitude plus time. They represent length, width, and height, and then you have to ad...[Read Full Post]

Think Education

âEducation is not preparation for life; education is life itself.â
John Dewey
What do you think education is and/or what do you think about this quote?
Hi! "I think it's the end of progress if you stand still and think of what you've done in the past. I keep on." by Leslie Caron, 1931 a French actress.

I agree with John Dewey. I long ago realized if I had been properly educated I would have made different and better life decisions. ...[Read Full Post]

Thinking longer stick needed

   Short end of the stick.

HI. "Nature is the most thrifty thing in the world: she never wastes anything: she undergoes change, but there's no annihilation, the essence remains--matter is eternal." Horace Binney (1780-1840)

Everyone from the top of society to the lower edges needs to practice thinking better. What is that thought, that passes through your mind? Is it you? Or did it come from a piece of air that you walked through? Do you really...[Read Full Post]

I WONDER

Prompt: Are you curious about your family history and do you regret not asking enough questions about the backgrounds of your elderly relatives, maybe now gone?

HI! "Nature fits all of her children with something to do, He who would write but can't write, can surely review." by James Russell, 1819 to 1891.

My family history has 4 parts. Grandmother and Grandfather from Mothers side and Dad's side. I have a lot of history from 3 sides of the family. ...[Read Full Post]

Think some More

Write about something that caught your attention last week.

Hi! "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever". Mahatma Gandhi

It's spring. Things that caught my eye.
1. the state of my yard because of all the extreme wind with storm passing through.
2.News broadcasts about negotiations between President Trump and Iran leaders.
3.Planting lettuce.
4.No leaves on the trees yet.

More thoughts

How do you feel about books totally written by Ai being published or self-published? Do you think this will change book publishing practices if this door is opened?

Hi! âThe future of AI is in our hands.â â Tim Cook, CEO of Apple

Yes. It will change some things no matter what is done with AI. Tools change the way life works.

I'm presently reminded of the hype that accompanied the internet when it first became widely available. everyone who c...[Read Full Post]
