This life of mine is filled with blessings and I'm gonna focus on that and move forward.

Actually, I need to upload the whole family, just for the heck of it sometime. Then, I'll always have them right here with me.

A BIG edit on this journey. I'm forced to agree with the fact, yes, it's a fact that though I attempt to blog, I do so not well and in bits, so, it's MORE about how I am a bad blogger than about documenting this life's journey.

Please don’t apologize for being tired! ❤️ You had a GREAT day, and you’re allowed to be exhausted after one. Sometimes gratitude and exhaustion can sit right next to each other. You can be incredibly thankful for the blessings of the day and still think, “Okay… now I need a damn nap.” 😂

I’m genuinely happy for you that things went so well today, especially after such a long stretch of struggling. You earned that little bit of giddiness! So enjoy it, be thankful, and give yourself permission to simply breathe and take it all in.

Yesterday was a good day. That’s worth celebrating. ❤️

I don't think that I have Ever completed a visit with my Dr. that lasted Less than an hour and 45 minutes. Even if, when I arrive, I am the first one there. It is as though I am arriving Before the Dr. gets there, and I have to sit and wait for his untimely arrival.

What a wonderful day of unexpected blessings! Congratulations to your husband on getting the window-painting job. It sounds like it may open doors to even more opportunities, especially with someone already telling you about a place where he can showcase his artwork.

And I laughed when your husband declined the tip and you didn’t. 😂 I’m with you—if someone wants to show appreciation for his work, let them!

As for Pi, give that sweet boy time. One week isn’t very long, and it sounds as though he is slowly figuring out that he has landed somewhere he is wanted and loved.

I hope that 26th birthday merit badge finds its way to you, too. Your shameless begging made me laugh! 😂

Day 3 WDC 26th bday fun and new people/exchanges

Well, today was one BUSY day and it did not go the way I thought it would. And I mean this in a positive way! First, today is the one week stretch with our new kitty, Pi, and well, he's a stubborn beautiful cat so it's gonna take a bit more time.

However, we're patient.

We can wait it out.

He's feeling it though.

The loneliness. The not being a part of the family yet...

We WANT him to be just hanging around with us but he's just not there yet.

So, we must wait.

On another note, on Day 3 of the WDC 26th birthday celebration, wheeehaww, I'm hoping to get a 26th bday MB from someone and somehow. I know that these MBs are gifted once a day and there are soooooo many other people to gift one to...I am just hoping that someone somewhere out of the pity of their innards thinks of lil ole' me for this bday celebration. (shameful begging)

I don't know enough people here like that lol.

Anyway...back to how today went waaay different than expected.

So, my husband got contracted to paint windows for this town we live in.

It's a LOT of windows.

That's a HUGE blessing for us and the start of something new and alive in our lives.

Then, in the same day, one woman stopped by as my husband was painting a window to observe and told us about a local place to showcase artwork you have.

This is again another blessing today.

Then, a man, this lady who stopped to observe, said that he wanted the initials of the woman who was observing painted on the window glass. We paused, wondering if he had the authority to do this but he came back through to see if my husband had paInted it yet. We laughed, pointed to it and he expressed his gratitude and offered a tip.

My husband declined. I did not. lol

We got cash from him for this lil gift to this random woman he knew. I guess he owns the bldg too. He can have things painted on it if he wants. lol

What a wild exchange that was. lol
