| So many new things in store. Tomorrow might start a new chapter for my husband. It might start something new for our family. He starts this new "gig" redoing artwork at the Mall. They absolutely LOVE his style and are letting do his thing there on windows. I can hardly express my gratitude for this opportunity. I struggle to say just how proud I am of my husband. He is finally, finally getting some traction in his field. This is all that he's been gunning for all of our lives. This mall is going to look FANTASTIC once he's got his hands on their window displays! He's been designing some storefront ideas and this time, he gets to execute on them all! ♥ Oh, and I get to be there to. I play support and fill in areas that so he doesn't need to stop painting. How fortunate we are! Thank you Lord for your goodness! |
| Sigh...well, I'm back here again but I'm still not posting any quicker. The event that our business helped beautify took place today. It was the largest state parade which runs through this town. Our work was all through downtown small town SD and it was so amazing to see! We've never had this opportunity in the past. Now, things will be different since the businesses LOVED the designs. People know who we are now. Well, the people who are interested in this. We're not known by ALL and that is a good thing. But it feels good to known for producing quality work. That person after person kept approaching my husband and complimenting his designs OR telling him he did a good quality work. This is a different place. We're in a different place for it. Thank you Jesus. |
| Well, it's Friday! It's a relaxing day and I am pretty much trying to wrap up from this week. Sigh...and our kid is feeling ill today. Well, she just informed us. Got to take care of her. Didn't plan again. I suck. Ah, well again, nothing to write about and yet, a lot. No time. I'll try more tomorrow. I've got newsletter due this weekend. See you later... |
| Well, today, we rest. It is what happens, I heard, after the project ends. We just rest. Try to collect ourselves from this long stretch. It is a weird state to be in but we are doing it. What is really great is next week, we start a new gig elsewhere. This is so fun, though! To know that we are actually doing this, not just dreaming about it any longer. Our lives are changing already. My days are definitely different and filled with changes. We are meeting the right people in our town. We didn't expect it to work out like this. I'm just so happy and feeling a bit giddy. Sorry for the rambling post but there you go! lol |
| Wow! The project is over! It was a rousing success! I'm so tired, so happy, still in shock from God's goodness, it's all so wonderful and unexpected! There was the final paycheck for all of the work for the project and we're gonna be great for months now. And this is just the tip of the iceberg it seems. My husband has a LLC now. We've wanted one for years; now it is here and it is ours. The bank account isn't empty this time. There's a new contracting job lined up for November 2026 that is so exciting. We still need our website now, more than ever. Our night of celebration was fantastic and we're so tired and ready to sleep, but just to recover. What is happening with our lives now? Something great finally is clicking and coming together. Must thank Harley for the lead last year. Can't wait for the Technology expo on the 30th of this month. I'll attend and can afford the pricey lunch this time. My heart is so filled with rejoicing! Thank you Lord again! |
| Just two more projects left to go...that's all we need to do. We're so close now to the end...it's so real. I'm so happy and wasn't expecting this much good in such a short amount of time. We're on our way now. This was such a dream and today, we had a meeting with an important person. . I slept so lightly and the cat awoke me so early, I thought I'd get more rest but I didn't. Decided not to go back to sleep but just stay awake and get ready for the meeting. Went to this meeting not feeling nervous but just expecting that this would do our way. It did go our way! This is something we've wanted for so many years, and it just came to us. Praise the Lord again! Can't wait to organize this and share later in my blog. See you guys later!♥ |
| Wow! It's getting brighter with each day again! This project which came to my husband (and me, indirectly) brought such surprises to our lives! I don't know what to think of it all. People keep stopping by complimenting the work again, and again. They just love the work that we are doing. I'm overwhelmed with the turn of events in our lives. We're finally seeing more than the light at the end of the tunnel. Some money questions just were answered, with no little effort. We might get to see our grandkids this year. I'm soo happy at the thought of this! Thank you God for your goodness! I'm looking forward to the time I can share this but just not now. See you guys tomorrow♥ Adore lol♥ |
| Wow! I'm spiraling! lol I missed my blog day yesterday and there just wasn't time to do it. Here I am today though trying to cram it in but I've got to write fast, as fast as I can. I wish my daughter could type this up for me since she types 90 words a minute lol I've never ever typed even at the minimum for my position (45 words)...90 was NEVER in the convo for me lol. I can't wait to share what's taking place in part in our lives but it's just unreal right now. Every year, nothing like this has EVER happened and THIS year, well, it's actually happening for us! Once I can, I'll share it in my blog but I am so out of time right now so I'm writing what I can today. I do have a few new blogger goals for myself. TeeGateM   and 𝄞 𝄆 Battywyn 𝅘𝅥𝅮 𝄇  are my spirit goals, truly these two are! lol I've never tried to blog in all of the years I've been here and this year, for the first time, I am trying while our lives are changing and it's really hard to start this now. lolAnyway, I wrote something cohesive today not alot but what I could write and see you around guys! | So, today was quite wild and whimsy. Things are coming together in my life. In my husband's life. This hasn't happened like this EVER. There are some different wings blowing in our lives. Goodness is shining on our lives. We went from last weekend stating that we'd never finish this project in the time allotted, to we're finished, with only one business left to go. In spite of faulty gadgets and incomplete stencils, we still finished the project with only one place to go. We got rained out on Monday. Today, the rain wouldn't leave and continued to drizzle, driving us and our work inside. The director apologized for asking if we could take an additional three more businesses. We are giddy with glee. Of course we will! They're talking about the work all over the town. Goodness shined on us again, today. |
