! This year I've started customising shoes. I wouldn't know where to start with making them, so I'm buying shoes for their shape and working from there. There'll be a post about these new ones when they're done.

The corner shop for a chocolate pick-me-up...this sounds like a great idea even if my nearest is the 7-11 convenience store. You are not alone in the sense of unnamed anxiety or doldrums this winter -- it's global I fear.

Hello,
I'm thinking we have some shared WDC pals, and from this post alone, we may be similar of habits creatively (must always have something to do! Paint, craft, sew... imagine. Ah, but TV, that's been a life-long habit...so, similar horror anthology series -- well, it may be terribly dated, but if you are relying on You Tube, all the better. Try Night Gallery (and it usually helps to watch in a dark room).

Did I understand that right about you making shoes? I'd imagine that would take some skill.
Sorry about your friend and I so understand how another's drama could cause tension in the home. Hopefully, now that time has passed it will taper off more so that you can get back to your norm.
