Faith to journey as God leads into unknown territories and situations. Where am I going?
Do you know where you're going? I know To Follow Gods Lead

I am in research mode, knowing that God is my light and my guide. Recently I felt prompted to take a very, very close look at Arkansas. When the Holy Ghost gives me direction and I feel urged to act, Most of the time I know it is in my very best interest to do heavy duty in depth research, follow the spirit, pay attention to my feelings, and listen intently for guidance from my Heavenly Father. God is good all the time. Jesus is my friend and He who takes great care of me, and Holy Ghost is my help and my guide.

Major progress has been made which thrills me. Saturday, I believe ti would be the 22nd of October, members of my church will be arriving to install the rest of the electrical components, insulation, dry wall, and well pipe, and plumbing. Then I will have all I need to manage through the winter and other seasons as they arrive.

My greatest dilemma is deciding if I should use gas or wood for heat. There are issues with either choice. Solar electricity and solar hot water would be nice however, these also have issues. When I have a main source for heat and then another for emergencies, this would be the best possible solution. If I had what I wanted and needed it would be wood stove or a stove which would burn different materials, solar power, gas, and then e;eccentricity for heat source. I have a huge barrel outside which I occasionally use to burn unwanted materials, however this wouldn't work well in the cabin. Roasted hot dogs and marshmallows anyone?

Some of the leaves are turning red. The golden rod is a beautiful yellow. Leaves are falling and the view is changing to more of a wintery scene. It's easier to see the mountains beyond the shrubs, bushes, and trees. As long as I have this beautiful view, I'll be full of joy and happiness. I heard that we're supposed to have a much more wintery season than usual, so it will be interesting to find out what it's like when it snows here.

I should be find with snow because I will by then have a way to keep warm, get food and water, and make certain I have what my animal family will need. I know that Bella really enjoys running in the snow.

As soon as possible I hope to get some skirting around the cabin to keep the wind and elements from making the floors cold. After winter, I expect to be able to add to my porch area and add a roof and screen in most of it so the masquitos are kept away as much as possible.
Safe travels and many blessings.

10:o5 pm and I'm exhausted...no beyond exhausted. I've got to do this tomorrow, really tomorrow would be much better.

10/10/16
It's beyond tomorrow, so I'm late for this important date. Yes I was beyond exhausted and slep well. Now that I realize I was supposed to return here and write, oh well, missed it! Better late than never.

My feline friends are running all over the place playing this morning, Bella is barking and wanting outside, ane I'm trying to write, sound familiar? My animal children know when I'm working and often disturb my word flow, kids will be kids.

Peace in the kingdom, yeah! Bella is out roaming about, the cats are quiet, and now I am able to add some information to this entry.

Church was very nice because I had a ride and was able to attend, the fellowship was warm and inviting, and the messages were uplifting and gave me a sense of being close to my Heavenly Father. Another plus was that I was able to go out.

I'm content to spend time in the cabin or on the landings of the ramp system, however, it is nice for an occasional change of scenery. Eventually I hope to go on a major shopping trip for some items I could use, yet I'll need to wait until my friends car is able to make this trip. Tires, a tune up, and major repairs are needed, so this car most of the time goes very short distances. From her place to mine is maybe a mile more or less, I have no idea. Sometimes she walks but this is a major feat because of the steepness and terrain of the area.

I am very, very grateful for everything my friend does for me. She brings water, gets necessities, helps with some clean-up, and reads when we have the time. Hopefully the well pipe will be installed very soon and I'll have water directly to the cabin. Another hope is for me to know the best heat source for me for this winter season. Electricity is ok, but it can be interrupted. Gas is ok but it can run out and depending on weather conditions it may be challenging to acquire more gas. Wood stovve or fuel burning stove of some sort is my first choice, yet again it is a matter of availability and having the help to keep enough fuel available. Off grid solar is a wonderful option but it is expensive, so a miracle would be needed. Research seems to be in order and necessary for figuring out the best possible option, so I ask you, what do you think? Please share with your knowledge and experience with using your source for heat, much thanks in advance.

It's been a while since I've used my grill outside for heating things because of the cooler temperatures and the angle of the sun has changed slightly. I now have a glass baking dish which I could turn upside down and place over the grill. This should make a difference for the better. Today perhaps I may try doing this and then let you know the results.

Currently I have a double hot plate which was loaned to me, so I have an alternative means for heating and cooking all kinds of things. I might purchase a slow cooker or maybe have the gas stove and oven hooked up which could in an emergency be a source of heat. I've been richly blessed with this camper size stove and oven. It's small and compact, yet should do a great job for me after everything is straightened and I can financially get the gas delivered.

Well, me thinks I've done enough of thinking on paper for now, so will move along and take care of some other tasks awaiting my attention.
Safe travels and many blessings to everyone.

Yesterday was quite a learning experience, and I've learned the lesson well. I'm blessed because my electric cord for my computer reaches far enough for me to view my food warming on the griddle through the front door window. Yup, it's all about food again, but, no I'm not obsessed with food. Planning and getting things just right for the sun to heat the griddle are important. This time I placed the griddle on a bucket off the landing/porch area which is part of my ramp system.

More about my food adventure today, hope you don't mind. I thought about what I was doing today and came to the conclusion that I was foraging like the animals in the wild need to do each day to survive. I don't mind doing this, really. It's part of living in the mountains in a cabin and waiting for people to help with the necessities. When the electric is finished, insulation installed, and dry wall in place, then the plumbing will be worked on and I'll have more of a modern cabin situation. Meanwhile, it's fine with me to accept this challenge and continue my version of camping for a little longer. Amazingly there is the thought in the back of my mind about you don't miss whatever it may be until it's gone. Well, I find this to be true to an extent. Although I would like to have it easier and more convenient, I'm doing ok and accepting things as they are knowing that God is looking out for me.

When I decide what I want for breakfast and figure out it won't be warm until lunch time, I switch gears and prepare something for lunch and then find breakfast. This way lunch is warming up and all I need to is wait.

For breakfast this morning I had some chocolate covered cranberries maybe a dozen, then a while later a carrot pod, then there or four chocolate covered cranberries. This to me seems like a version of foraging, so I'm fitting into my environment nicely. The crows are calling and this brings to my mind the theft of yesterdays breakfast. I don't know for certain, so will not accuse.

One thing I must remember is to drink plenty of water because of medical reasons and for my health in general. Perhaps I will close for now and write more later.

It's later! I checked the rice and it's about room temperature. Today is cooler than days past, it's windy, and the days are getting shorter. Perhaps I need to develop a better solar/sun cooking method which includes finding the materials, and construct something which would incorporate the grill because it has no electric wire and plug for electrical use and also I wouldn't trust it anyway. It was left here by the people who abandoned the place before I bought the property. My friend suggested I should get the gas oven and stove hooked up, a great idea, Just want to make certain everything is viable and safe first. Then worse case sneer, I could take the chill off the place by using the oven. And, when I'm cooking it will heat the immediate area a bit also. Me thinks this is turning out to be warming and cooking 101, how to camp in the mountains ojt, or crash course.

My best guess at the moments with things the way they are and I just noticed the sun is playing peekaboo in the clouds, it may be an hour or so before things are warm, or I'll have to settle for room temperature. Several friends are going to complete the building of my ramp, so I'll ask them about the gas stove and oven, and what they think about heating options for the winter. I've thought about getting some kind of gas heating appliance for emergencies. If I eventually have off grid solar electricity this would be a super major blessing. I'll be patient and see what God has planned. Usually I find His plans are much better than mine.

One more blessings is the air conditioner doesn't need to be used which will help keep expenses down. During the day it is very comfortable inside and outside. While writing this I glance outside and take in all the green of the bushes and trees, other things and the weeds. I know there is rag weed here, some kind of purple berries, and passion fruit. Oh yes, and I have a hickory tree. I don't know if they are self pollinating or if they need to be in pairs. Hopefully if needing to be in pairs there is another hickory tree nearby.

The leaves are falling and some colors are starting to show their brilliance dappled through out the mountain side. I just noticed yesterday that some kind of grass is growing near the ramp. Time is ticking, so I should move into my other tasks which are waiting for my attention.
Safe travels and many blessings.

For the past two nights it has been turning colder. Fortunately, my friend has loaned a blanket, afgan, and sweat shirt to me. It's nice during the day, but the mountains cool down quickly as soon as the sun sets and slumbers till morning. The lesser light, the moon has not enough rays to warm the darkness. When it gets dark up here, it is darker than dark. There are no lights like you would have in more populated areas. The moon, stars, and any other object in the black of night can be seen clearly and in detail provided the clouds do not obscure the night time show in the heavens. This display and show case is well worth enjoying even when it is cold. The air is crips and clean, water is fresh like that os running springs, and the view spectacular.

My cabin is comfy, however it does need some help. I have hope that soon people from church, or somewhere will finish my wheelchair ramp, put in the rest of the electrical outlets, install the insulation and dry wall, run the pipes from the well for the indoor plumbing and set up the sink and other things, and put a skirt around the place soon. Hopefully I'll be able to get a wood stove of some sort also.

I knew I'd be camping for a while, but didn't expect someone or several someones were going to wind up homeless because of a house fire. They are worse of than I and so prayers for them are appreciated. When you are able to put in a word for me, this also would be appreciated, much thanks.

The sun is rising and with it so it the temperature. I have been rolling out of bed sometime between 6 and 7 AM just to watch the day break out from the darkness with a smile. I feel like the sun slowly rises causing pink orange colors to play upon the blue background of sky and then when it get to a certain hight it smiles at me wishing me a nice day.

One of my projects for today is going to be moving some of the boxes around so that it is easy to get to the bare walls and adore them with their insulation garments and winter coats. I'll be thrilled to have the insulation and dry wall finally in place. That should take care of much of the chilly situation and then the rest of the project can proceed as time and people power allow. Having some electrical outlets on every wall would be most helpful, so this should be completed first.

I have breakfast warming up on a griddle using solar power. This is going to be more of a challenge as the days shorten and the temperatures drop. When I'm able I want to investigate getting the gas oven and stove hooked up. This is the closest thing to camping I've done all of my adult life. As a child I went into the mountains on family vacation and loved staying in a cabin. We had a huge fire place and all of the modern conveniences, so although I enjoyed the mountains, it wasn't exactly camping.

One of the differences about the situation now is that although I knew it would take time to get situated, I didn't know nor expect it was going to take this long, several months of waiting, and that cold weather crept and there was no insulation yet. Camping isn't too difficult. It takes planning ahead and figuring out what to do and how to do it with a little of belief and faith thrown in for good measure.

I know that Heavenly Father knows my situation and I have every confidence that He is going to continue to take care of me. What I don't know is his timing and who He'll ask to help. Many battles are won and lost in Gods waiting room.

I should check on my breakfast so will write more later. Anyone want a blueberry bagel?
Safe travels and many blessings.

What a disappointment! I just went to check on my blueberry bagel and it was gone, err! Something apparently for the first time decided to invite it's self to breakfast. Critter, do you really have to be like that! Oh well, Gods creatures need to eat too. I decided to guard my food so am sitting on my 8'x8' foot landing which is the beginning of my ramp. The ramp ends at the next 8'x8' landing, then there is supposed to be another ramp at a 90degree angle to the drive way. I hear some dogs and possibly one of them absconded with my breakfast. Bella barked but I thought it was because of something going in reverse with the warning signal beeping, didn't occur something else may be happening. She, Bella was inside with me, so I know she didn't eat my food.

Survival of the fittest and the individual who can reason and think out challenges. I do have a few more challenges then usual, however with God I should be fine. I'm grateful for the sun and the griddle because I'm getting warm and so is breakfast. I've eaten aa bagel without waiting for it to get room temperature, but found that a refrigerator cold bagel isn't awful, but not as good if it were at least room temperature or warmer. Whenever I get hungry enough though, I usually don't care about temperature unless it's something like ground beef for example.

Awesome I hear the breying of the neighbors donkeys. It's nice to be in very sparsely populated area and have nature up close and personal. This is one of the reasons I decided to make this huge change. I still haven't used any other medications except what is in my pump, and it's been almost two months. I hope to do much better in the near future. The fresh air, water, and many other things are other reasons for being her.

Having my breakfast stolen is well, just an inconvenience which I guess I will get over as soon as I have something to eat. At least it wasn't prime rib, steak, or some other very, very expensive food. So, I'll add this blessing to my collection, praise and thank god for caring for me and helping me, and be glad to have my wonderful place on top of the mountain. I still believe that God is good all the time. Another statement I believe and cling to is "when God seems far away, who moved?" Usually when we are challenged it is because we are doing or not doing or missing something important and I know me. I often am oblivious to what is really going on. Things are not as they seem, so Heavenly Father needs to get my attention. This I feel is a kindness, so after getting over disappointment or other reactions and feelings, I usually realize I'm the one who needs to change and make the difference. Then It is progress and I move on to the next step. Right now the next step is to closely watch what's heating up, and then go do some organizing in the cabin.

Some kind of bee just stopped by for a visit I guess because the yellow background with large print black letters seemed like a flower or something worth checking out as a food source. Plus I'm still wearing the red set shirt. Breakfast is now probably going to wind up being lunch, so I'll keep periodically turning the bagel until warm and chow down.
Safe travels and many blessings.

I was up earlier than usual today. The sun hadn't made an appearance yet there was light. Viewing the sky was like seeing colors intertwined through out the vast beautiful blue sky. As these ribbons of orangish and pinkish colors displayed their gloriously decorated gowns, I could feel God reaching out to me with a huge generous smile and hug. Yes, this was going to be a grand and wonderful day.

Excited and pleased about my appointment, I fed my animal family, fed me, then went outside with my service dog, Bella, who was very happy to roam around looking for that perfect place. As she was searching I was watching and enjoying the rising of the sun. My decision was to do my best to get up early regularly because seeing a display like this is a treasure of art which is unsurpassed. The picture won't be the same tomorrow but it will be well worth the price of admission which is waking up early. God is good all the time. I can see this and therefore know this when I witness the beautiful art which is displayed day and night for every human being on this planet earth. There is no charge or requirement for enjoying His art work.

Now that I'm not top of the mountain I can see and enjoy much better the wonderful coloring art He gifts to us. This has made me miss my art work. For a short time longer, my art materials are in storage. So I'll enjoy all of nature and wait until it's time to get back into doing art again. I'm getting a bit off track, so should return to the subject at hand, ready, lets go!

My appointment is within a few hours, the transportation is available and scheduled for 8:00am, so now all I need to do is be ready. Gathering what I need will take the rest of the time I have before my ride arrives, I'd better get with the program and complete these tasks. Bella needs her service dog equipment, I need my folding wheelchair and the cushion, the transfer board, my hat and sunglasses, water to drink, water for Bella, my medical supplies, and I think that;s everything. Oops, the keys! Ok, now I have...I need Bella's fleece, got it. Time for a road trip.

When my friend arrived we decided maybe getting me off the ramp landing would be quite a challenge. All of the ramp is completed except for the last few feet because another friend got sick for several days. Another week has passed and still things are slow or no go. Hopefully this week the ramp should be finished and another project started.

Fortunately , my friend Mary, my transportation friend, and another friend was available to get me off the landing so that I could transfer into her car.

Wow, I was amazed at how well the road had been graded. Because of the rain we've been having here this season, many roads were seriously damaged. Some were so severely washed out that it was almost impossible to get from point A to point B, which was the state my road was in for weeks. Experiencing and seeing the road in such great shape was almost like having a party. No longer were the vehicles bottoming out as they were driven up the hill to my place. I took such a trip when I first was able to get home. Several weeks have passed and now I'm headed to my meeting, raining down blessings from heaven again.

Perhaps it is about 10 or more miles we traveled and then we were at our destination. My joy soured as I rolled into the building. Many things seemed familiar and yet, I felt like I was on a different planet. The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints has the same protocol everywhere you go through out the United States and as I recall, the world. The buildings are different shapes and sizes, but the church services, classes, and other church related activities are familiar no matter where you go to church. Now you know the rest of the story, I had an appointment with Heavenly Father at church which was the main thing which made me day so spectacular and amazingly wonderful. Being with my church family although they were new to me, was wonderful. We greeted each other and then church started. Being with God is like getting hugged all day. I look forward to many Sundays with Heavenly Father at church. God is good all the time. Safe travels and many blessings.

P.S. I know for myself and because of my many experiences that God is everywhere and that spending time with Heavenly Father doesn't require a special meeting place. It is nice to fellowship with like minded Christians and pray together. For where two or more are gathered, there am I in their midst.

today is a wonderful and glorious day. God is good all the time. I have faith, belief, and trust Him although there is the human element where those bothersome things nag at you. I'm being pricked by nervousness and concern which have no place or part of me. It is necessary for me to cast these horrible things out and away from me. "Nervousness, concern, fear, and all other unhealthy things which are NOT OF GOD shall and must go in JESUS NAME. I feel like I just received a huge hug from Heavenly Father, Jesus, and Holy Ghost. This adds to the huge joy, peace, and splendor of this day. I will cling to God, Jesus, Holy Ghost and all things of scripture. Each day which is given to me is a precious gift.

While my life is not my own, it is indeed as much as possible and in actions as much as possible a beacon shining Gods glory through all I do, say, and write so that many people may find their way into His remnant. My savior Jesus is my friend who is with me every step of the way, so with God with me and my friend Jesus, and my guide Holy Ghost I'm in very, very good hands which is much, much better than insurance. We all have eternal life and we all are accountable. The big question is where are you, me, and other people going to spend their eternity?

For all time and all eternity I belong to Jesus, I'm in Gods army and loving it. The Holy Ghost guides me. It is necessary for me to be alert and aware of the promptings so that I can appropriately respond. Being on this earth is wonderful and I'm content, waiting for the time for me to go home where Jesus has a place prepared for me. For this I am so very grateful and thankful.

While on this earth I am grateful and thankful for all the things which I have and will enjoy. The challenges, trials and tribulations are testing and strengthening for me to help me prepare for my return to Heaven. I may not like some of what I go through or have gone through, yet, it will be worth it in the end.

Arkansa has been a major huge blessing for me as well as a challenge. Mostly of great importance is my health is improving. My finances will in time get straightened out. Things are becoming better and I expect soon much of the tasks will be completed. This is the way life goes, so it is best to roll with the situations following God's lead. For certain when I do this there is no room for negativity to slide into the mix and mess up things.

Although there are some challenges yet, these soon will be resolved in Gods timing, Gods way. Regardless of the out comes, God is good all the time. Me, I'm the one who needs to decide how I will respond to these out comes. I have a choice and must choose my reactions. With Jesus help and guidance from the Holy Ghost I will follow Gods lead and make the right choice.

This doesn't mean I have to like everything. Many times I've playfully told God I don't like whatever it may be and asked for help accepting and dealing appropriately with that situation. I always get an answer. Sometimes it is "yes", sometimes "no", and sometimes it is "wait". Many times the waiting is the toughest. I've heard that many battles are won and lost in Gods waiting room.

It's time for me to enjoy my day being thankful as I pray
gifts and blessings I adore given to me glorious ever more
many times I've lost my way, yet He shows my right path every day
my love for Him often grows and through me His glory shows
as I learn of Jesus ways my life gets better with Him my heart stays
on this earth I'm content sometimes I truly need to vent
When I am heaven bound I hope to find that you're around
as the battle rages on soldiers from heaven never are gone
we fight for right and have much might and then evil takes flight
No rewards on this earth compared from heaven greater worth
my blessings gifts and salvation are waiting at heavens station
the time has come end this entry and then return before next century
prayer is stronger than anything angels fly spreading their wings
I hope you enjoyed this writing now time to go join the fighting
Firht for the right with all my might HIs glory shows day and night
All He has done for me can be given to you wait and see
ask for help and pray some more as you approach heavens door
We go together you and me can't wait to know what we will see
write with might for readers delight allow not any fight
Gotta go take care of things will wait to see what day brings
our friendship is precious too and I want to be with you
enjoyed your visit as you know see you soon all aglow
another entry soon created who knows what will be stated

As time flies, so do I. My spirits are high as the clear blue sky. Water I drink, I'm thankful and think. My blessings from God above given with great love. The scenes are of dreams yet I see them over and over again. At morning there is no warning. I wake regularly and realize It's up to me. So I enjoy the beauty of this earth which has great worth. On my mountain is a fountain. Giving to me Joy, happiness, and greenery to me. I love nature and my creature, Bella my friend wonders again. She walk for a while and I have no guile, for she's safe with God watching her plod. When she returns, she yearns, for breakfast from me, she's hungry you see. We enjoy this place and haven't got to race. Our friendship true all the day through. The ramp almost built, dew no plant's wilt. House plants are growing, and I'm knowing, as the lands getting cleaner, I want a mule not a lemur. Breakfast past sunshine at last, time to have a blast. I enjoy the scene and blue skies and green. Air so nice breath deeply once or twice. Water awesome, quenches my thirst. Bella with me my loyal friend sits quietly. It's how we start our days, loving this place in many ways.

To God the glory this is my story. He cares for me, giving generously. He guided me to this peaceful place and showed me how to win this race. Ten acres and bit more, I feel like it's nearer heaven's door. Closer here than where I was it seems like this just because. It was polluted, crowded, and worse. I almost wound up in a hearse. At least this is how I felt. No more pressure, I won't melt. I'm free as a bird I feel so good! I'm very much enjoying all of this wood. It's quiet and I can relax, winter time is coming I should get an ax.

It's cool at night, boy, do I like. Bella and I should take a hike. With my wheelchair I can roll, down the hill I dare not go. Too steep for me chair to clime, I'll write so this will rhyme. We'll roam on the flat places as far as we can, I should turn on a fan. It's hot outside, in we go, til' this evening and the cool wind blows.

When evening comes we'll go out again, to watch the sunshine slowly descend. The evening beauty unsurpassed by any other I know. Trees, shrubs, and gentle rain will flow. It's better out here than where I was then, because A dream come true happens over and over again.

Another mile stone for me has happened! There is a huge amount of trash and debries all over the place which is driving me to want to yell at the previous owners who basically abandoned this beautiful place, and read to then the riot act or worse. A wonderful, beautiful, relaxing place like this should be well taken care of in every way possible. After all I see this as a awesome gift from God who in my mind and opinion owns everything because He created everything along with His beloved Jesus and so It is very precious. Can you tell I'm passionate about this earth for which we are given the freedom and responsibility to care for and enjoy.

All Of my ranting above is exactly what I want to shove into their faces. However, Jesus most likely would have a different idea, so I'll give this over for Him to take care of and continue focusing on what I should be doing.

This afternoon I went outside to enjoy all of nature and seeing this horrible trash, felt like I was living in a dump. Thinking about having help to clean up this mess, I concluded that if I wasn't going to at least try to do some cleaning myself, I had no business asking someone else to help me by cleaning up the property.

Casting about for a way to get things cleaned was rewarded by spotting a bent up rake, and not one you would use to rake leaves. Fortunately it was within my reach, so I grasped it with a determined mindset and rolled as close to the ramp landing as I dared. Reaching as far as I possibly could without falling out of my wheelchair I managed to drag the rake toward the ramp and what do you know! I actually snagged some stuff I wanted away from the beautiful view. PROGRESS! The idea of being able to clean thing up a bit grew and with that, I was more determined to remove the eye sores otherwise known as trash where it could be delt with best later. At least it wouldn't spoil this natural beauty on top of the mountain.

Trial and error was a major challenge for me. Often I didn't see vines or small tree limbs or other stuff which would greatly hamper my attempts to get cans, cardboard, dried debris from plants and trees, and other plastic junk moved into a pile. Many attempts later I was able to get small amounts of stuff moved. Hours later I was ringing wet, tired, hot, and had enough accomplished that I decided it was time to stop for today and weather permitting, have a go at this again tomorrow.

As long as I can roll on the ramp and landings, I am free to reach, drag, and maneuver whatever I want to relocate. he huge challenge is what and how to do this all over my acreage? Whatever I figure out to use must be something very stable, all terrain, run on economical fuel, be mostly free to acquire, and need very little or no maintenance. I would love to have a mule but this will need to wait a while. Money for the animals care is necessary and I'll have to get bills paid first. A tractor won't work well because the area is rocky, very, very uneven, and very steep. An ATV might work for some places but these are expensive in many ways. ATV's may require a license and being legally blind, I wouldn't be given a license. Wonder why? *BigSmile*

Other options aren't exactly appropriate because all terrain wheelchairs are extremely expensive, may not work well in this areas mountainous areas, and may not be stable enough. I know! An Abrams tank should do the trick! Hmm, I might get in trouble for that, oh well. *Document* I'll leave the tanks alone. *Target2* Oh, well! Something will turn up and this challenging issue will be resolved. God has and is looking out for me and will continue to do so as long as I do not tell Him to go away, which I do not want or plan to do ever.

I have been richly blessed by having my childhood dream come true. Heavenly Father (God) will not forsake me now. This precious gift and blessing is treasure and I am rich with Him and all He has given to me, including WDC and all of you.

My joy and happiness are full. Having this place is like having renewed life and environment to enjoy and care for. I take this obligation seriously and plan on doing my best to be all I can do and all I can be with God's help.

Safe travels and many blessings.

So far I have written some poetry , edited group pages, created new group pages, and added to my blogs. It is becoming clear that I should spend some time studying about poetry. I've fallen into a rut and seem to be stuck. Usually when a poem developed in my head it has the last words rhyming. I know there are different ways to write poetry, so need to dig around and extract myself from this situation. Practice is key after learning, so I will dedicate time and energy to practicing the craft of writing different types of poetry and learning as I work. I believe this is much like on the job training.

Friday is almost here for which I am very excited. Friends are going to work on adding materials to my ramp project. This gives me an idea. I should take note of this event and write about it poetic form. Where this will lead, I have no idea, however, It should be profitable for me to do this exercise. Who knows, I may be able to write something which would generate income .

Miracles happen in all sizes, shapes, forms, and other different ways. My miracle was having the rake leaning against the deck which is part of the ramp project. The next piece will be a ramp which will lead to the next deck, and then the rest of the ramp. All this works together for me to be able to get in and out of my cabin. The rake played an important part in the building process because I was able to reach some debres which would have been in the way. It's nice to be able to help, even if it is in a very small way. As I'm able to access other things around here, I'll be able to move unwanted stuff out of the way. Eventually I hope all of this stuff will be loaded into the trash can which I don't have yet.

Step by step, inch by inch things will get better and there should be a huge improvement. With the cold weather on the way, It is important for as much outside work to be completed as possible. So, I need to do as much as I can to facilitate this endeavor. Another good possibility is there may be more people who will be able to help. I know that God will guide each step of this project in His timing. It is up to me and other people to follow HIs lead. As we make progress, I will share my adventure and share with you the details.

Until next time, safe travels and many blessings.

I've been in Arkansas for a while and should get with the program! The writing program I decided to begin when I settled in here. Well, and that is with or without water can be a very deep hole which can entrap a writer if that writer doesn't keep on the look out for the pit and falls in. I have no desire for falling into a deep pit anywhere at anytime. So, here I am creating word art using my trusty tool, my computer. With great thankfulness and an appreciation for what is possible with this machine, I proceed allowing my thoughts to flow freely. Certainly I am keeping in mind the topic for this entry or chapter which ever is appropriate.

Yeah! I've started writing and intend to continue every day even if this means writing very little or a huge book. I'm not going to be particular about where and exactly what I write as long as it is something. My goal is to create a habit for writing and then expand and mold this activity into producing better and better content with greater and greater quantity. Quality first of course and then quantity as long as I am consistent. Whenever I miss the mark, I will need to practice more and invest more time and effort. Then when I'm back on trace, al should go nicely and efficiently.

So now that I have established these guidelines, explained them to you, and also confirmed them to me and have them in black and white for me to read and refer to, it is time to seriously and diligently work towards my writing goals and turn these into a writing career.

A writing career is exactly what I need to create and develop, so who ever has any ideas, suggestions, tips, tricks, or whatever may be helpful to share with me and any other writer, they are welcome to comment here. Should some members or visitors need to communicate via a different method, email is fine with me.

Being in Arkansas has two main reasons associated with making this move. One consideration was for better health and better living environment. The other was so that I can dedicate my energy, time, and abilities to writing and art.

I think I'm starting to run out of steam and word art to place here because I'm getting tired and sleepy. So rather than write who knows what, I will stop and return to this project later.
