Ever finished a piece of writing feeling confident, only to do a 'final read' and suddenly question everything?
It’s a fine line between creative breakthrough and just being too close to the project.
How do you handle that final moment of doubt before hitting post???

When doubt tries to visit I use my creativity to distract doubt and keep doing what I know I'm supposed to be doing. Doubt loves messing with us, so keep doubt at a distance. Writing about doubt can help get and keep it under control.

When I read writings from years ago I wonder how I wrote an item and didn't realize how bad it is, but then I see it from a more experienced writers POV.

we need to crawl before we walk. Practice meaning write, write, write will help us to improve our skills. Ideas are great and when we get them they are not lost. Enjoy the process and keep the words flowing you will see good changes. Hit the post button and share your thoughts and Zideas. Enjoy, go for it!

Send the critic /editor on vacation.

Thank you for your well wishes. I have had alot of support ever since I first visited this website and definitely wouldn't be able to write the way I do now without the help I received from the members in here.

greetings readers and writers!
I know I was away for a while due to my inability to focus on writing; thanks to my 2 penny job lol but I'm hoping to make a come back in a month or two.
during the time I was away, I did write new poems and also decided to work on my old poetry and somehow, I think I got the job done.
anyway, thanks to everyone who went out of their way to support me on this amazing journey.

– The Community Newsfeed is a great place to ask other writers to read/review your newly written work. To make it easier for us to look at the new poetry you're referring to would be to link to item you're asking for input on.

To do this, you've got two options. If you type in {item:#######} with the item number in place of #, the post will show a simple link with the item's title; for more visibility, use {bitem:#######}.

For example: {item:2285369} = "Harrassed"
