Wow, I haven't provided photo's WDC Members I've met while traveling in a few days!
In the top photo you see Jim and Robert Waltz at dinner here in Bloomington. He was passing through on his way to California (I think), and stopped here for the night.
In this photo (left - right) you see 🌝 HuntersMoon, his wife Rosemary, Jim, and Robert Waltz at dinner in Virginia. I was lucky enough to be in that area on business, these kind people joined me for dinner!
Did you know that today is the only day of the year that is a direct command? Yep, March Forth! But the commands is incomplete because it never tells you where to March Forth to!
I started posting cartoons, graphics, meme's (whatever the heck you want to call them on December 20th, 2018 in "Smile! (Groan?) You Know You Love These!" ! Some have been posted more than once, such as a couple of my favorites,
or this one, (I couldn't find the cartoon of Achilles Heels).
In May 2022 I added music videos to the mix. I keep track of the videos to avoid repeats. I've now posted 1337 videos on "Smile! (Groan?) You Know You Love These!" , and still have 213 on the 'To Be Posted' list. It sometimes grows daily. I've posted songs by many of the groups on the 'To Be Posted' list, but there are about 40 video's by groups not posted yet. What does that tell you? Prepare to Laugh (Or Groan) and listen to the music!
Well, we now have tickets to two events, both over in Peoria. Henry Cho in July, and Dwight Yoakum & ZZTop in April. It's time we stop sitting around the house and get out & experience things/life. Peoria also has The Rock Orchestra coming in April. They'll play music of iconic bands including: Metallica, AC/DC, Rage Against The Machine, My Chemical Romance, Linkin' Park, SOAD, Guns N Roses, Evanescence, Aerosmith, The Cranberries & MORE! The problem is, I know little about each band, Kathy knows even less. I listened to a couple of tunes by Rage Against The Machine (I've heard of them, know nothing about them). I refuse to post in "Smile! (Groan?) You Know You Love These!" any lyrics that contains F-Bombs. It's just me is all. When listening to Rage Against The Machine, I had difficulty listening to any lyrics that didn't contain F-Bombs. I finally found one. The point is, I don't think this concert would be for us.
I'm kind of particular about the music I listen to, and even more particular about going to concerts. If I'm going to a concert, I want it to be a band I like singing songs I enjoy.
Nup! Me either.. Give me Theatre any time and genuine lyrics and melody eg Elton John (seen twice) Rolling Stones,even (Emotional Rescue) in Melbourne 2014... Alice Cooper (Melbourne, Australia) was also a terrifically entertaining performer...
