The Ticking of a Fool’s Watch Open in new Window. (13+)
A dystopian tale of Mr. Smith’s folly in 2050 Harrison, AR, leading a nation to ruin.

This short story was inspired by Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s words which remain a warning:
"Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than malice,”
“The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children.”
And...“Action springs not from thought, but from a readiness for responsibility.”
A final question: Are we ready?

The Sycamore’s Caress Open in new Window. (18+)
A raw, sensual longing for a lost lover, entwined with a sycamore in Little Missouri
It may be a little weird, and It's slightly erotic… (shrug); I'm a little weird, too, but in a good way.

Noisy Wren’s Adventures Open in new Window. (E)
Noisy Wren, is a pint-sized bird with a loud mouth and a fearless heart.
I've been working on this short story on and off for months. It's a fun story about my little bird persona, Noisy Wren, who is a lot like me (ha, ha). I welcome everyone who likes cute, wholesome shorts (about 7500 words) to check it out and let me know what you think about it. Anyone who reads and reviews it will get at least 500 GPs from me. Yep, my shameless bribery is at work here.

No Other Way Open in new Window. (13+)
A primal chant of survival, forged in pain. The Hu’s fiery influence inspired me.
.
I’ve just posted "No Other Way," a primal poetry chant born in 2020 during my recovery from receiving my Borg spinal implants. It’s pulsing with The Hu’s fire and a haunting dystopian image. I was under the influence of pain meds and forgot I had written it. I found it in my Drafts folder and finished it today. This Dark and Inspirational work, rated 13+, sings of survival with depth—check it out in my portfolio and let me know if you feel the rhythm!

P.S. I won’t be annoying y’all with anything here for a couple of days, I’ll be attending a family members High-School graduation ceremony!
