One of my favorite 2025 contemporary songs is Jamie McDonald's "Desperate." Have you ever been there? I have. Write a poem about it and enter it in this month's Scripture Poetry Contest. It may help someone. My second favorite is "No Fear" by Jon Reddick. What is there to fear when we have eternal life.

On January 3rd I will be posting a new group and contest. When I started the Lighthouse Poetry Contests, I am the one who learned a lot. Now that I am no longer in the prison ministry, and lost my wife, {both in 2024} I find I have time to do it. Check it out after the New Year. I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas.
