I have been in a very dark place of late, I have neglected my Newbies, I have neglected my contests, I have neglected my writing and I have neglected myself. I was afraid I would never recover. Today, I recieved a post card. A simple thing, I know, however, there is beauty in simplicity. The post card was from the story mistress and story master, giving inspiration, as they do. It is good to know one is appreciated. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for lifting my spirits today.

Hello everyone, I am sorry I have not been here, I have been ill. There will be no Newbies in the spotlight this month as I have not been able to do much. I am late with announcing the winners of February round in my contests and will bring them up to date as soon as possible.

I must say I am glad to see the end of January. So many much loved, famous, people have passed away and now I hear Sir Terry Wogan has passed too .*Sad*
I'm so sad to hear of Terry Wogan's death. What a huge shame. I had actually had a tear at the news as they kept showing his speech when he left his breakfast show 'Time for me to say goodbye' or some such -it brought a tear to my eye anyway. May he rest in peace. *Sad*
