Starting a new YA novel in which a boy is placed into a detention home due to lack of family and his delinquent behavior. After arriving for a short period of time the teacher finds out that he is reading on a 3rd grade level even though he is 16. To help with the problem he assigns the boy to a book club. Through books the boy finds he is magically transformed into the main character of each book he reads. Eventually he learns about life and makes it into an ivy league college.
