| In the Music Lab at my music school, the students are permitted to compose songs using music notation software. Sometimes their creativity makes me giggle. Today, I give you, "i lost my progress nooo (an ode to unsaved music)" by squid: |
| That's like when I was in high school and got my first piece published in the literary magazine there. It was titled Writer's Block and it was blank. |

| I don't believe I've shown this off yet. Thank you, SoccerBee Since you're probably now desperate to try your hand at this award-winning quiz, you will need to collect the trinket below to access it: There's another free, easy-to-collect trinket inside the "30DBC Upvoting Form" . No strings attached. If you feel inclined to follow the instructions inside to help me with 30DBC spreadsheeting, that would be awesomesauce of you. But not required. Want to help with 30DBC? Please complete this survey so we can make it the most rewarding volunteer experience you've ever had.

| Brandiwynš¶ I stick to middle ground when I review. If I consider something to be very poor writing, I won't review it. If I consider something to be superlative writing, I ask myself what qualifies a humble poet like me to review it. (I do occasionally write a gushing review (did so less than an hour ago), but it's rare.) |
| Anyone know if there's a way to temporarily pause a survey from accepting responses, or should I just make it private? I'm NOT talking about the "30DBC Upvoting Form" , for any of you still planning to help me out by upvoting. If you tried earlier and found the table of blog posts broken, my apologies. It's working now. What I am talking about is this lovely pretty shiny, which you may have on August 1st and not a moment sooner. For now, I'll just tease you with how lovely pretty shiny it is..

| I've added a new entry to my book, "La Bene Vita" : "Sheets Tutorial for Automatic Submission Tracking" Learn how to use sheets and survey forms to automate the process of collecting user submissions and displaying them immediately into the body of your activity or contest's forum, survey form, or any other place on writing.com where things can be embedded. |
| Good afternoon, Writing.com community! I have a new challenge for you... and another trinket (inside). I seek real data for the spreadsheeting of "30-Day Blogging Challenge" . Debate Date Practice Round, Part 2: Post Upvoting. Instructions are inside. It's easy! Just read one or more of the entries and choose a post to upvote.
Thank you for your help! Upvotingly, Michelle |
| I'll check this out tomorrow, today I was dealing with a provider double billing, and a browser that had a mind of it's own. |

| I could still use a few more upvotes for my "30-Day Blogging Challenge" spreadsheet design work. As a reminder, you're allowed to upvote one post per day, so if you did it already, you can upvote another post today. It involves reading one or more brief blog posts about the best superhero powers and filling out a one-question survey form. It's "super" easy. Much appreciation. Instructions are inside the survey form:
Please and thank you. |
| If you have written a blog post in the past day or so, would you consider submitting it to the 30DBC for testing purposes? You can just make up which prompt you used - or if you actually used BC, BCOF, Blog Harbor or wrote a personal/goals entry, you can indicate that. If you did not write a blog post, feel free to log that you're "claiming a freebie" today. Thanks in advance for considering! This is strictly for test purposes.
