I took a month long break from writing.com and I haven't gotten a single email from those I subscribed too.

I didn't have a good morning. I absolutely HATE driving in the rain. And it was pouring in Nashville this morning. People utterly ignore the 'slow down when it gets wet' signs. They drive as if it were a sunny day and they get irate at those of us who slow down in respect for the weather conditions.

I was trying to be slow and safe, maybe perhaps slower than I should have been, but I had people zipping past me at all sides many with honked horns and glares and I was like 'do you guys realize that it's RAINING?'

But I made it in to work okay so I'm grateful for that.

I hope you guys make it to wherever you need to be okay.
It's good you made it to work in one piece. I was once passed up by a super slick cabriolet on the German Autobahn. A few kilometers down the road I passed him as he had smoked himself in a construction barricade that came up too fast for him to swerve. The pretty car was split in half. Speeding is not the answer, so you can rest assured that you did the right thing.
Annette Author Icon - Oh yeah. I saw several lights a flashing and heard several sirens this morning. They were on the opposite side of the interstate but I imagine they were for similar types of vehicles.

I'm working on the upload today for March taxes....ugh... a large number of accounts (300+) with large monetary differences and a LOT of changes....

double ugh....

I'm going to have fun today.
