Words, the swichblades of humans.. I thought your story layout was well done and your rhyme scheme works just fine in this write. I have a bit of a problem with your metre/rhythm here and it is due to extra words in most cases, and can be reworded without a change in meaning. First line drop the "is", seventh line "your words cut me" . As always just an opinion.
