In my view, the primary focus should be on encouraging the writers to write. I do not review items I don't enjoy anymore because I see it as a waste of my time. So, if you get a review from me, I enjoyed reading your work. The amazing thing about this whole process is that reading an inspiring review usually leads to me reading more of a reviewer's work also. So, it's a win-win.

I will not review...
something I do not like. I do not enjoy writing hyper-critical reviews. I do NOT believe that "honesty" is a synonym for "mean." If I see someone being "mean" here on the public reviewing page, in group behaviors, or just acting as a bully I will not send them my reviews. The only exception to that would be judging a site contest - there all items get honest (and hopefully diplomatic) reviews of the work from me with no exceptions.

I thought about life for an imaginary presence in the mirror. Rose from Titanic is an interesting character to imagine. I wonder what Kate Winslett would imagine for herself. Interesting to wonder about that.

I liked how it was fun and engaging, but then life went back to normal. The trip to Bob Evans was great because it provided some of the best from real life with what could be imagined.

Angela finds a ring that helps her control the weather. She is careful in how she uses it and takes it on so that someone doesn't get it who will abuse the power to control the atmosphere.

I liked the choices Angela made and I also enjoyed her interaction with the squirrel. She uses her power wisely. More world leaders need to do things like Angela does them.

This story involves imagining what life would have been like for a woman who married well in Jane Austen's time. Her husband is not devoted, but she makes the best of it.

It seems like a lonely life, but she has done her best.

I like how she faces the situation realistically and holds on to other relationships with people. That is a smart thing to do. It does seem like she longs for more, but it is unsaid.

The remote is a continuing source of contention and fun! LoL Even today, years later, the remote is in charge not the other way around. I found your poem to be very amusing.

I was entertained especially by the use of the name "Joe" in light of what I saw on Youtube yesterday with another old Joe. This seems to be very up to date, even though it was written a while back.

Personally, with my own Firestick remote, it had the batteries explode. I felt that was a certain male spirit telling me I wasn't doing it right.

I enjoyed your poem very much and wouldn't change a thing.

I thought about how Gina has to be prepared to move fast in her role as Tooth Fairy. It's interesting to think about what we remember from our own encounters with a tooth fairy in our childhoods.

The town people think they know Ariana and who she is, but they don't know her at all until the chips are down and she comes to save the day.

I don't really think we know others. We only know what they want us to know unless the crisis happens. Then, too much can be revealed. We all have secrets, good and bad, like Ariana did.

I thought about how a young boy of 10 years old would use his imagination at the beach. Suddenly, sand castles become very real.

I liked that the Dragon was in reality a Sea Gull, who had swooped in. A child's imagination is a wonderful thing that creates stories that build on reality.

Maybe this will help me deal with my own bullies. I will just think of them at the Wicked Witch from the movie with her flying monkeys. Both of mine are narcissists, just like Dorothy's witch!

This story reveals that life can take us in many directions. When we are young, we don't see the big picture, but choices are sometimes made by parents and then things move differently than we thought.

It does seem like everyone finds their way, but maybe there are moments of regret and sadness, too.

Athena hadn't met the right man, but when she is in trouble, the right man comes to help her. I was glad it all worked out.

I loved the idea of the wolf turning out to be nice and helping Athena find her way to true love and happiness. The wolf seemed scary, but turned out to be kind. Usually people pretend to be kind and turn out scary. It's an interesting comparison.

Monique loses her locket that her love gave to her. She knows the locket means a lot to her future husband. Luckily, he finds the locket, fixes it and forgives her for being careless, if she was.

It seemed like when it happened, she was ashamed and cared a lot.

I liked that Monique told Jensen the truth quickly and that he forgave her and realized that it could have happened to anyone, since the clasp broke. It made it so that they treasured the locket as an heirloom going forward. Since it was passed on to their daughter, it means that nothing else happened to it on Monique's watch.

It seems like she learned her lesson and Jensen loved her enough to forgive her.

A ghost reaches out to a woman on a castle tour and finds a kind and sympathetic heart.

I especially liked how the wolf and the dragon fitted into the story and how people saw the dragon, but only the narrator, Megan, sees the others apparently.

I could picture the castle in my mind from your description. I saw places like this in Ireland.

Daerneys was a favorite character of mine. I had started watching the show, but I quit because I sensed that who ever was writing it hated the characters that I enjoyed, like Daerneys. She had a special relationship with her baby dragons.

I like that you appreciate some of the good characters I liked. So, Jon Snow did that. I had liked him in the beginning, but he must have changed to do that.

I could watch the whole thing on Max now I guess. But what I heard about the ending made me realize that the writers were headed in the direction that I feared, which is a direction where they hated the female characters most of all.

It is good to read about it and learn more. The actress who played Daerneys is very talented. I saw her in a movie where she had dark hair and looked completely different. She did a nice job.

I wondered if this was a true story. The ring went through a lot of adventures over time. Sometimes I have to lose things to realize how much they mean to me when it comes to heirlooms.

This reminded me of when I wake up in the night, thinking I have heard either the doorbell or a knocking noise. Unlike Pearl, I don't ever open the door.

Raccoons are cute in pictures, but in real life I have seen them snarl and bare their teeth. The little ones are cuter than the big ones. I like how Pearl made friends with her door-knocking little visitor.

You had to pick a character to be from a movie. It makes sense that you picked your favorite movie, Titanic! Great choice!

Rose is an interesting character since the movie is told from her point of view. She saw it all from her youth to her golden years. And, she was beloved.

It's interesting that you choose someone else for Jack. I had never considered that someone else could play him. It brings to mind some interesting possibilities.

I thought about first impressions. At first the whale shark was scary. But trying to understand what was going on was a good thing. The whale shark was a mom protecting her baby boy. So, the defensive moves were understandable.

I thought the description of the whale shark was interesting and how it made the narrator think of an alligator, too. When we take time to try to understand situations that are scary, sometimes they look different to us.

You have done a nice job with all your prompts and I enjoyed reading this one, too. Did they ever award the prizes for game of thrones? A lot of work has gone into this writing.

What does HOOves think about while perusing your item?

I thought about how sometimes dogs choose us and not the other way around. Felicia was sent by Benjie's spirit to comfort Amber.

What does HOOves moo appreciatively about while reading your item?

I look at this like Felicia rescued Amber. When Boo died I kept a lot of her things, then gave them to Pluto. I think there is a bond from Pluto to Boo. When I see Pluto in the window, I think of Boo in the window watching for us.

Maybe sometime a puppy will rescue me. Life goes on, but sometimes it hurts, too.

Fine story with a lovely resolution for Amber! Wonderful storytelling!

I thought about these movies. I think you have made a thoughtful list. Movies aren't as good as these now, for the most part. In the past, they knew how to tell stories better.

What does HOOves think about while perusing your item?

I thought about all these people. The one I knew of and liked best of this list is Kate Winslet. I guess you had to pick who you would be in your own life show? That was what I came up with for this question.

You give good reasons for your choices. I am not familiar with one, from the 70s show. Is that a good show?

What does HOOves moo appreciatively about while reading your item?

I would like being Lisa from Green Acres, too, because of Arnold the Pig. How could she not be really secretly happy in Hooterville with Arnold watching TV in her living room?

No one has a pet cow that I know of, but they do have that cow in the opening part of Young Sheldon. First a cow, then a bull.

Anything with animals is good entertainment as long as they are nice to the animals and the animals tolerate the humans.

Hi! I am sending you an anniversary review to celebrate your 16 years here in a couple of days. I perused your portfolio and found your Writer's Cramp Writing.

This title interested me as I have very sensitive hooves.

Also, I figured I'd send my first review for credit to you so you can tell me if I'm not doing it right before I do too many.

What does HOOves think about while perusing your item?

I was wondering what the advice might be since I looked down at the prompt before I read the story. It developed in an unexpected way for me as a reader. I was hoping everything would work out alright for our protagonist, John.

It sort of made me wonder if he went on to be someone who is an emergency response rescuer. The story made me want to know more about John.

I especially liked the part where he wrote below the handwriting. That seemed to help him take things seriously, but it all took him to where he needed to be.

I enjoyed your story and I admired the character you created.

I think that good health is the best one. If you have that, you can move forward with travel and money. Without good health, we are at the mercy of the health care system, which doesn't seem to be good anywhere in the world.

What does HOOves think about while perusing your item?

I thought about how Amy is more concerned with her animals and geese than she is with herself. That shows a lot of good about her.

I like how Amy is happy when those she loves are happy. It depends on them and things being safe and happy for her animals, who are more like pets. It is very heartwarming to read about how the geese are welcomed home.
