This is an awesome contest. I love the challenge of trying to tell a cohesive and interesting story in just 300 words. Using the prompt can make it even more of a challenge, but also can be helpful, as it sparks an idea. . .

I only wish I was able to write earlier in the day, so that I don't always get my entries in just minutes too late. I live in the Mountain Time Zone, which is two hours earlier than writing.com time, so that complicates things.

I will be visiting and participating in this contest often in the future. . .
