Insomnia is a hard burden to bear. I wrestled with it myself for many years after the death of my brother. But at least I had a 'reason'.

I like the way your piece flows, it's easy to read. The words evoke colorful imagery a bit d I can almost feel the dry sand beneath my feet. Great job!

I read and think of her parents. It's a terrible thing to bury your own child no matter the age. When a child's voice is silenced, the world holds it breath and only exhales when the next child dies. Sad that our world breathes death and what is beauty goes unnoticed.
