After reading your work, My impressions are these:The emphasis on the different colors that life brings. Whether true life, or from a fairytale. I can see the scenery in my mind's eye.

My Favorite Part(s)I like the color you use in your writing. I looked up what a Mononet style poem was, and you hit it spot on in my opinion.

Suggestions/Questions:The only thing I might change is the size of the font. With the color, it makes this size just a little blurry to my eyes. Otherwise, a wonderful poem.

After reading your work, My impressions are these: I can see that by your writing, it would be better to give you chocolate, rather than roses...LOL Do you like milk, white, or dark chocolate? Plain or with nuts or fruits?

My Favorite Part(s) You went out of your way to show your "boo-boo". It was fun to read.

Final Thoughts/Questions:I gave it a "1 *Star* rating, because I was following directions at the bottom of the poem. However, for the funniness, I give it a "5"!

My First Impression: Vivid description of a thunder-storm with lots of rain. I could picture it in my mind's eyes as I've seen this kind of storm many times (I lived in Louisiana, not far from New Orleans).

My Favorite Part: The end of each verse was "An atmospheric river flows" reiterating what the poem was about.

After reading your work, My impressions are these:Wow...I liked the way you told the story. I got a chuckle in some places, and could relate in others.

My Favorite Part(s)Also the scariest, swimming out into open water scares the bejesus out of me. I also had that feeling of helplessness, and it is very nearly my experience that I read. It is swimming pools for me only.

Suggestions/Questions:I wonder how you did with the contest. It's been a dozen years since you've written this. Do you do any swimming, or did you find other ways to ramp up your exercise routine? I'm very much waiting on a clearance from my heart doctor so that I can get back to the gym.

My First Impression: A bit sci-fi and a bit happening right now! A well blended story. I feel a bit sorry for Marge, as she seems a little "lost".

My Favorite Part: The part being a daylight savings nightmare, made me chuckle. I sincerely hope that daylight savings isn't linked to dementia...We could certainly do away with it, I'm sure.

Just nosing around your portfolio today for Anniversary Reviews. Wanted to wish you a Happy WdC Anniversary for this Friday. Ten years! Awesome.

After reading your work, My impressions are these: This story is definitely a twist on what I was thinking would be a "murder/mystery" story. I like the way it just jumps out at you at the end of the story.

My Favorite Part(s)I like the "There's weird, and there's weird" dialogue between Maura and Sylvester. They start out polite, if not cautious, and then they become "partners in crime". Cool beans!

I like the collab element that you have going on here. It makes for an interesting style of writing.

Final Thoughts: I was glad to have read this story. I write mostly poems, but this is a really cool sci/fi work. It makes me wish that there was more of this story to read.

After reading this work, My impressions are these: I am so very glad that things worked out for the little girl. Your careful watching saved her life for sure. Even though this was written 5 years ago, Cell phones have become even more of a problem than ever before.

My Favorite Part(s)While I salute your modesty in accepting the award, I too, feel as though you deserved it. My feelings are that the mother should have been scolded as well, but that is a thought for another day.

Suggestions/Questions: I know that it has been a while since you've written this, but I did catch one little misspell:

I covered the one hundred yards between the child and I as fatfast as my legs would carry me and dove into the water fully clothed to extract the baby.

My First Impression: This poem hits very close to home. I can relate on several levels with what you've written.

My Favorite Part: The raw emotion of it; like you aren't afraid to admit this to yourself or to others. The vulnerability of what you've written.

My Suggestions/Final Thoughts: I have no suggestions for this poem. It is honest and real. The final phrase, it is eating me alive...That about sums it up. I don't know if anyone else understands, but I can relate. The first line on feeling disposable. I get it. I wonder why sometimes that God allowed me to live. Wouldn't have been easier to just get to go home and not be pained anymore? Oh hon. I hear you. I hear me, and I'm sure there are others who feel this way too. But it does feel like we are alone, eh?

I'm sending this review for the 23 in 11 challenge.

My First Impression:Not the story I thought it might be. The twist at the end startled me to say the least.

My Favorite Part: How his Julie would not give up on him, no matter the horrors that he had seen. The last line was so very sad, "for who has seen a pair of ghosts?"

My Suggestions/Final Thoughts: A very sad tale, no matter what war, or conflict. I am sure that there are a number of stories that could identify with this story. I felt it in my heart. Thank you for sharing. I hope it does well in the contest.
