Reading this story makes me believe that your Mom was a very courageous woman and with a great Faith and love in her heart.
The part of the story where there were singing before her last breath touched my innermost soul as I did the singing to Mama an hour before she died last May 15 last month
I sang to her the songs she taught us when we were kids. When I sang Tantum Ergo my sister sitting at the back sang with me, then our youngest brother sang with tears freely flowing from his eyes while Mama was smiling as she listened then died.
Your story is truly full of meaning.

I belong to a family who loves to cook except me but I collect recipes if their cooking that I love most. So I answered Family.
I have some recipes posted in my Port . Actually our late Mama was the best cook in the world when she was alive. When I miss her cooking I visit my Sister who owns a Restaurant that serves an international cuisine and right then and there she serves me one or more of Mamas cooking that she masters.

The lie was corrected and the truth came out yet the brother seemed out of touch possibly in the wrong path of life and the typical scene of a worrying mother for her child.
