Bittersweet memories, sang Whitney Houston, echoed here in your writing. Lots of words are misused in everyday life, I believe Love is the biggest, misused many times. The pain in chest like you have had a car sitting on top of you I can relate to. Nice work , just don't try to be something for someone else, be it for yourself, if they care they will accept you as you are. keep writing
Good write and I think we sometimes mix friends up with colleagues. You will find people are envious of studious people and want to bring them down to make themselves look good. Be yourself and not an extension of anyone else, it's tough but worth it. Keep on writing.
That took me back a bit. Have felt the same on another site that has now collapsed taking all my poems with it. Hurt by trolls who actually rubbished my poems and that made me feel sad. Dusty Fog how many of those did I read when I was in the services. I get pulled up on this site for my lack of punctuation. I have not punctuated any of my poems so I must get some lessons, but it is necessary critique to make my writing better. thank you for popping by and for posting this piece and taking me back in time.
Super composition. The little folk get up to lots of mischief as can be seen here.the rhyming is good I write in Rhyme myself and have at times tried to break away but always return to my roots.Thank you for sharing this with us.
Cleverly constructed composition concerning Classical conditioning. Everything we read hear see and do leaves an imprint in our minds and thus our thoughts are guided by all sorts of input almost like an artists palette, colours coming together to form the picture. Very good piece.
