Your story brought me back to the memory of Selena Quintanilla. She had a great voice and a compassionate nature to her. It was a huge loss when her life was taken from us. I saw the movie that was made about her life. Her smile was contagious. Everyone who knew of her loved her. Sharing the part about how she drove a long way to teach Caglar Juan Singletary his first aerobics class was amazing. This showed a lot of caring on her part. I'm glad that her music will live on forever.

I enjoyed reading your story. I encourage you to keep writing. You have expressed her memory well. I believe those who knew her would love to hear about her again. It shows that she is not forgotten.

There are days when I try to read something and find that I am tired and then my eyes begin to feel heavy and then I fall asleep. It's usually not because I am bored; it just happens to be that perhaps my body is telling me that I need to rest for a while.

Your writing is well-written. You describe the emotions that went into your story; it was vivid and to the point.

I am not a professional reviewer, but I can offer feedback on your story and how it impacted me. I understand why you might view work the way you do. It can be difficult for people to understand why someone is not working hard and is considered lazy because of the associated label. As someone who has a mental disability, working hard is often a challenge for me. I may feel good for a while, but then it becomes difficult to push myself further; I get too tired. I am currently working on publishing a book and hope that people will be more understanding of what we go through, rather than judging us for what we cannot do.

I encourage you to keep writing. Receiving feedback from those who also struggle with disabilities may be helpful to you. Being misunderstood due to the stigma associated with this illness makes it even harder to meet expectations.

It's interesting how we keep doing the same things over and over again and never really try to solve the mistakes we make. At the end of your story, I liked the way you phrased "It's tempting to cut through each tree one by one so that I may see straight ahead as I envision, but there's a forest that can be walked through with trees that can be walked around. I ought to sheath my wisdom, and let my conscious think out loud."

I am not a professional reviewer but will give you my feedback on how your story has impacted me.

Your story was good reading for me. It's quite a transition when someone has to give up their home and have to move somewhere else. Losing your job is difficult; you're not able to keep what was working well for you. These mice went from a place that was luxurious to having to stay with an aunt whom was not Mr. Bentley's favorite.

It sounds that there might be trouble for the family living at Aunt Henrietta's house. Making noise seems to be a problem for her. It was said that her place wasn't bad but was told to just wait and see.

Moving is very stressful; one never knows how much belongings they have until they have to move. I can relate because I have had to move several times. It takes time to pack and unpack. It's hard to find the right box for what you need at the time.

I encourage you to keep writing. It's interesting to know that mice can be rich too.

I am not a professional reviewer but I want you to know that I can give you feedback on the impact it had on me.

This sounded like a relationship gone bad, on the other hand, it could be about someone who cared deeply for who didn't feel the same way. Don't let someone that you love get you to the point that all you want to do is want your heart to stop and think about dying every time you are thinking of her. There is someone out there who would be able to show you genuine love. This takes time sometimes but well worth the wait when she comes into your life. It's easy to get discouraged; it has even happened to me. I beat myself up by blaming myself for the way they treated me. Don't give up on hope; there is always hope. It's important to have faith also.

It is good therapy to write and I encourage you to do that. This poem was sad but I hope I, somehow, was able to bring a smile to your face today. Keep your head up; I hope for the best for you.

I am not a professional reviewer but I can give you feedback on how it impacted me after I read your poem. I hope that it will be useful to you.

I wrote a story titled "Crying Capsules of Tears" when I cried over broken relationships. These relationships tore me up inside; it seemed like I wasn't going to stop crying. This is what happens to us when we allow the hurts to leave us in this state of misery.

When we find ourselves in these situations, even though it's hard to do so, we need to pick ourselves up by not blaming ourselves; it's not always our fault. We do our best to maintain the relationship and all of a sudden, out of the blue, it ends. Many times we never know the reason why it happened. We need to dust off the cobwebs and bounce back up from the darkness. Once we begin to see the light again is when we the smile will return to our faces. We will experience happiness in our lives again; we deserve it.

I encourage you to write; it is good therapy. It takes courage to share our stories with other people. I admire you for doing that. By doing this, other people can be helped.

My goal is to help someone feel happier about themselves. I finished reading your poem "In the Jurisdiction of You and I (Poem)", and decided to give you feedback on your poem. I am not a professional at giving reviews, but I can do my best to give you one.

Yes, greed can ruin a good relationship by bragging about all the money that one is making and thinking that they're better off than the other one they're involved with. It's too bad that this has to happen. There is a bit of an ego problem in this poem, it sounds to me like someone is trying to do their best to make someone happy, yet, it isn't going anywhere.

I believe in hope rather than putting all my effort into hopelessness. In my opinion, prayer is the best answer to a problem that will have a solution. Without hope, a person is bound to fall into a deep depression. Pray that they will find happiness.

I hope for a miracle for the person who is struggling with greed. Hopefully, this person will acknowledge that there is another way to be happy in life.

I hope for the best of health, friendship, and happiness in your life today and in the days ahead in the future.

A professional reviewer, I am not. I am reviewing your writing, "A Prince's Vow; I will give you my take on the story and hope it will put a smile on your face today and always.

I found your story to be enjoyable. I felt sad for the prince after he asked the knight for his hand in marriage repeatedly. At the end of the story, the knight goes to the castle to meet the prince found him nowhere in sight. The knight brought a flower bouquet with him. The prince placed the bouquet on the ground. The prince's smile never faded. He knelt to the ground in prayer. The prince dusted off the plaque and wept as he read what the note on the plaque read one last time. "To my dear prince, how I loved you so. How regretful I never got to marry you. Love, your dear knight."

At the end of the story, the epilogue mentions that the prince had been suffering from depression. This is understandable when you love someone so much and after proposing to the knight endless times, and being turned down each time, you would expect to be saddened.

I encourage you to keep writing. Your story talked about love. The love you feel inside your heart toward someone can easily be torn because of rejection. There is hope to be found. One doesn't realize that someone out there is waiting for just the right person. Once they find him/her, your life can get the happiness it deserves.

I finished reading your short story "The Children of the Euphrates", and when I finished I had two words I needed to look up; they were (1) amalgamation and (2) chook. My reviews are not professional but I can offer feedback to your story.

Chook was a word that I hadn't heard of before. This was a new word for a chicken. I love to learn new words and found this one to be of interest to me. Mysterious mysteries; this is what came to my mind, after reading your story. It sounds like this could be a continuation of a story. I felt sorry that the young boy was caught and a noose was strung around his neck to put on the hanging tree. I felt the pain and agony he was going through with all the screaming. At the end of your story, you wrote, "Today is a good day to hand the chook." They called him a chicken, but what if he survived and returned to tell his story about what had transpired? This would be something to think about.

Your story was well-written. I encourage you to write. For those who love to read mysteries, this would be a good one for them to read.

I read your poem, "A Sea of Darkness and a Chance at Light." I've decided to do a review for you. I am not a professional reviewer, but I can give you a take on what, after reading it, on what my opinion was on the subject.

I don't know if your poem is based on your personal story or of someone you know. Whatever the case, it sounds as though depression has hit your life. Depression is a difficult emotion to go through. When you're experiencing depression, you don't see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I first experienced depression when I was seventeen years old and it lasted until I was 50 years old. Those were rough times in my life. When I was diagnosed as having a mental illness and that I would have to take medicine for the rest of my life, I accepted that; I didn't question it. Even with the medication, I couldn't shake the depression. I did, however, have the hope that one day I would be cured of the depression. It wasn't until a friend asked me if I had tried Abilify. It was a brand-new medication that came out at the time; I hadn't heard of it. I went to my doctor to see if he could prescribe it. Normally it would take about four to six weeks before someone would notice the results. Amazingly, I noticed the results of this drug immediately. I felt like I was young again; I had more energy. It was a miracle drug for me.

My suggestion is to go to a doctor for treatment and medication. Having the right kind of medication can do wonders for depression.

I didn't realize that there was a huge stigma attached to depression; depression affects your family and friends. It seems like they're afraid they will catch it and decide not to have anything to do with you. Don't allow that to keep you from getting the help you need so you can feel better about yourself and continue with your life.

I know this was a lot to take in. I shared this with you because I care. I hope that this will bring a smile to your face. Don't give up. You are a special person in the eyes of God and valuable to Him as well.

It sounded as though you were tired of the existence of day-to-day activities. My mom and dad have passed away and I miss them very much. It takes a lot to want to pick up the phone and say hello to them knowing they're no longer here. I miss the sound of their voice. When I read the description of your story, How do you miss people you love, this is how I miss them. We used to share interesting stories that would make me want to laugh and learn about their lives.

Life can be a difficult place to be in when you've got bills to pay. Having the same routine every day can become boring.

I couldn't quite grasp what you were trying to say in your story, but, if you have time to explain it to me, I would love for you to do it, so I can better understand what you're saying.

I'm excited to review your story, "The Impact of Tech on Modern Education." I like to give my interpretation of what I read, even though I am not a professional reviewer.

My thoughts, after reading your story, were inspiring. Your writing is remarkably brilliant. I didn't think of it being from a newbie; you wrote like a professional. I found myself more educated by the new modern technology. I am 67 years old. I am concerned about using AI and Virtual Technology. I have been getting information on them; there are dangers that the owners are afraid of. Not knowing what they can do, they can take off on their own and there won't be anything we can do about it. It all depends on who's working behind the scenes. I'm hoping for the best. There's a lot of trial and error on my part; I'm almost afraid of clicking on the wrong button(s).

I admire the workers who are putting this technology together. It's a wonderful experience to know that the tools involved can make our work better than it has been.

It is inspiring that you had a dream about going to space. Your dream didn't stop there; you took the necessary steps to make your dream come true. This is fantastic. I admire your courage. Being an astronaut is hard work. Being afraid of heights, being an astronaut would not be a profession for me to pursue.

To be remembered, I am considering having my body launched into space after I die. I figured I could float around in the universe encouraging people on Earth to hang in there. You wrote a beautiful poem about your beautiful survivor who put on a facade about being strong when she wanted to cry. I can relate to this. I've had men scold me for shedding tears when something hurtful was said to me. They wanted no part of that; I was told I was too weak to handle anything. Men are often told not to cry. It's okay to cry; it takes a person of understanding to tell someone that they're there for them and that they can permit that person to cry.

I encourage you to keep writing. More people need to let someone cry when they need to. It's nice to know you feel that way toward your beautiful survivor.

I reviewed the piece that you wrote entitled, "Tell Me About Your Heart Please." I am not a professional reviewer but, I can offer my input into how I felt after I read it.

I can relate to your story about relationships. I was in a relationship with my second husband, who didn't talk to me for about six or seven years. This wasn't a pleasant time; it felt awkward. I felt that I was walking on eggshells every day. He had problems with chain-smoking, alcohol, and drugs. I eventually ended the relationship by walking out and later divorcing him. I was married for about 18 and a half years. He also had a mental health disability.

I enjoyed reading your story. When you were asking him how it felt when he ended the relationship, I thought the same thing. I encourage you to keep writing. I believe it will help others who have been through the same thing. Even though the situation was painful, the love was still there.

You made a valid point with your question on whether we can hear the calling of tomorrow for future generations. If we don't do something, how can we hold our heads high before them? I would want a better future for our future generations. With the non-sensical happenings occurring in our society today, it doesn't sound like there's much hope for them. We need to stop the hate that's out there; we don't need to encourage violence and remarks about racism. The immigrants that arrive here should be treated with kindness and respect. My father was an immigrant from Sweden; he didn't know any English when he arrived in the United States of America He became a citizen and worked hard in his life. I heard good stories from him; I regret not remembering them.
