Hi! My name is Caprice Rogers, and I will be reviewing your poem My Twin Reflection.
What I like: It seems like the character has low-self-esteem. It's like he's trying to see good in himself but he can't. (While you look in the mirror/ In love with what you see/ Nothing but grief looks back at me) A lot of people feel this way, so it's great that you expressed it in a poem.
What I dislike: Nothing! God bless and keep writing! :o)
Hi! My name is Caprice Rogers, and I will be reviewing your poem Spitting In The Wind.
What I like: As a teenager, I can identify with these foot in the mouth, always seeming to do something wrong moments. Your poem is humorous, but relateable.
What I dislike: Nothing! God bless and keep writing! :o)
Hi! My name is Caprice Rogers, and I will be reviewing your poem What Mankind Has Wrought.
What I like: I can totally relate to this! I am always saddened and sickened by the senseless violence of my fellow human beings! I just wish we could all live and peaceful world, void of any hate!
What I dislike: Nothing! God bless and keep writing! :o)
Hi, Sum1! This is Caprice, reviewing another one of your pieces. This poem is really beautiful! I can tell you wrote it for that special someone! I have never been in love yet, (I'm only eighteen) but when I do fall in love I hope I will feel all these emotions that are expressed in your poem. God bless and keep writing! :o)
Hi! My name is Caprice Rogers, and I will be reviewing your poem The Wind.
What I like: This poem seems to have a very spiritual message to it. It seems like the wind is caring your character to a better place, whether it be heaven or some kind of healing from an illness.
What I dislike: Nothing! God bless and keep writing! :o)
Hi! My name is Caprice Rogers, and I will be reviewing your poem The Gift Of Sweetness And Sincerity.
What I like: This poem covers so many aspects of love, from the love between and man and a woman, to the love one has for God. It's very beautiful and brilliantly written.
What I dislike: Nothing! God bless and keep writing! :o)
Hi! My name is Caprice Rogers, and I will be reviewing your poem Motherhood.
What I like: This is very thought provoking! It doesn't make sense how a lioness ( a cold-hearted killer) can have enough heart to protect her child, but a human woman ( someone who is supposed to be kind, nurturing, and gentle) would let someone abuse their child. More mothers should read this and really think about the message in the story.
What I dislike: Nothing! God bless and keep writing! :o)
Hi! My name is Caprice Rogers, and I will be reviewing your poem The Tethered Heart.
What I like: I have recently gotten out of a relationship that left me scarred, so it's nice to read about heartbreak. I also like the format of the poem. Spelling This Broken Heart going down the line from beginning to end is brilliant!
What I dislike: Nothing! God bless and keep writing! :o)
Hi! My name is Caprice Rogers, and I will be reviewing your poem Depression.
What I like: You described the feelings of depression very well. I have felt depressed many times in my early teens, and I, too, wanted to be left alone.
Mistakes and grammer: in the eighth line, I think you mean, "I want to be left here alone". Other than that, this poem is perfect! God bless and keep writing! :o)
Hi! My name is Caprice Rogers, and I will be reviewing your poem Don't Be Attached.
What I like: I love the message! I think we all need to realize that everything we have right now is someday gonna be gone, and we shouldn't get too caught up with the material things in life. It's what we have done in life that will matter when we leave this world, not what we have gotten.
What I dislike: Nothing! God bless and keep writing! :o)
Hi! My name is Caprice Rogers, and I will be reviewing your poem Waking Up.
What I like: I like the semi darkness of this poem. It seems like the character is waking up in cold, snowy weather, but is just grateful to be alive. I think that says a lot about your character.
What I dislike: Nothing! God bless and keep writing! :o)
Hi! My name is Caprice Rogers, and I will be reviewing your poem A Mark.
What I like: I like the message! I like how you talk about how your always gonna leave an impression on someone, how someone is always gonna remember that one thing about you! That is so important for us as human beings to be aware of.
What I dislike: Nothing! God bless and keep writing! :o)
I am very touched by your story! Strokes run in my family and I have seen 1st hand how debilitaing they can be. My birth mother had a stroke when she was only three weeks old, and grew up with an arm that she is unable to move. My father had a stroke when I was nine and it was very scary and damaging to me and rest of my family. God bless you and all the other stroke survivoirs out there
Hi! My name is Caprice Rogers, and I will be reviewing your poem, Lust.
What I like: I've recently been through this, so I can really relate to it. Lust and love are two different things, and we need more poems describing what lust is, because we have so many that describe what love is. There needs to be a balance in describtion.
What I dislike: Nothing! God bless and keep writing! :o)
