I like the question you pose at the end and these are questions I have asked myself also receiving no answers. You absolutely should rewrite this like you cared about it and not like you texted it to a co-worker. I started writing because of a heartbreak too, keep it up even after you get through it. That is a very nice poem. The imagery is beautiful those I don't completely understand your question at the end. I don't know if the use of the word 'Lace' twice in such a short piece is beneficial or not. I enjoyed it very much, thank you
