Sad, but beautifully written. Cancer is the most dreaded disease. My best friend died of cancer and it was a horrific death. I cannot believe what it does to the body. I am so glad that it cannot wipe the fond memories that we have inside of us of our loved ones. I am sorry to hear about your sister. I wrote a poem for my friend and gave it to her before she died. What a beautiful poem to your mother. I lost my mother in 1997 and I miss her so much. It is amazing how time flies and it has been 11 years since she has been gone. It seems like just yesterday that she was buying me Easter dresses and cooking biscuits in the kitchen. As I write, this email the tears are falling just thinking about her. Sometimes it feels as if it was just a dream. But in my heart, I know that she was here. God bless you on Mother's Day.
