Very nice piece of poetry. I have stated before in other reviews of poetry that I have never read much of the genre, but there are some very promising individuals on Writing.com that write some very nice and heartfelt poetry. Nice job. Keep up the good work. I look forward to reading more, perhaps even begin to love this type of writing.

This may be a short story, but to me it spoke volumes. The loss of the friend, and longing to have another friend that she can rely on, is something that nearly all of us could relate to. Also, the feelings of being out of place or not belonging, are something that everyone has felt at some time or other. Nice job with this. You painted a very nice picture, even though it is one that is not pretty. I commend you author.

I must admit that I have never been one who read much poetry, but when I saw what your poem was about, I wanted to read it. I have 4 children of my own, and cherish each and every one of them. Children make our lives better, even when you are having a bad day, they can brighten it with a smile or something silly they say or do. Nice job. Very nice wording.

Ooh, a good scary story. I like these kind. I am no writing expert, but I do feel you are onto something here. You started out pretty good. I know the premise has been used a lot, the old scary house, but there are always ways to put a new twist on it. The only complaint I have is that for me, it jumped around a bit too much. I love short stories, and that is what they are meant to be, short, but I wanted just a little more of your macabre tale. Nice job.

Now I like many types of writing and various genres, but I must say that this is my cup of tea. You captured my attention from the start, and held it to throught the end. Very nice job. I do only have one complaint. What happens next? Maybe it is just me, but sometimes, I don't want to be left hanging, unless I know there is another installment coming. Maybe that is why Lost made me so crazy watching it. Anyways, keep up the excellent work. Look forward to reading more from you.

Well, where to begin. When I first started reading it came to my mind that maybe the person speaking had been in an accident. It was an interesting twist that he was part of an experiment. It was definitely an ingenious idea and one that completely threw me off. Excellent work.

I truly enjoyed this story. At first I didn't know what to expect, the amount of witticism in the story threw me off a bit. When the story started to turn towards a more dark avenue, it caught me off guard. The funny thing is, this sounds like a plausible scenario considering the way technology is today and the voracious way we depend on it. Excellent work. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future. That is, if we have a future.

I did find this story quite interesting. I would have liked to see it go a little farther, but for what it is at this point ,it is pretty good. I did notice numerous grammatical errors, and at one point I had to read a sentence a couple of times to understand what is was saying, but I did enjoy it just the same. I look forward to more works by Ms. King.
