This is amazing I like that you acknowledged our everyday heroes, it's true a lot of people's good deeds go unnoticed there is definitely something to be said about kindness in human nature. My daughter personally loved this one and I can't disagree you're a great writer.
You are definitely a silver tongue; I loved all of it minus one small portion which is the repeat of darkness in the last lines. However; this is a personal preference and even with this notation had wonderful flow and good guided imagery. This was truly a joy to read.

Honestly I'm not much for poetry, because I have a hard time staying focused. Though this was fun and I really loved not only the rhymes, but the light hearted expression placed in this poem. Halloween is always a fun time and I think this poem really captures the feeling you get exploring your local neighborhood on Halloween night.
