Good job!
How many of us are stuck behind our fear of not being good enough or afraid our ideas won't measure up to 'their' standards?
Good choice of words and phrases.
Wow, couldn't have been written better. I worked for 3 years as an aid in Pre-Schools and your story reflects what I saw so often from the other students as well as the children's own parents. Too sad.
"Hope is never really fleeting
It stands forever strong
Defiant and loud it proudly says
Stand fast, keep holding on.."
Again great job! I wish I could write poetry properly.
I bought a book by Garrison Keillor "Good Poems" yet most of the "poems" don't fit the description of my idea of poetry.
Thanks for being here.
A look into depression. I've lived this story before. It sometimes grips you and you pull a blanket over your head.
I'm not sure but I thought you might have had some typos:
My mind keeps blocking up or locking up?
Does darkness seek up or sneak up?
Along it brings my true fears? Not sure.
A very good analogy of depression gripping a person's life.
I liked your story but I have to say at first I wasn't going there. I don't like cruelty but I persevered and read it all. It grew on my and by the end I liked it...very much. Original.
