Points to Ponder:*Idea*This come off a little preachy (even though it is the truth) Maybe it could work a little better if you make it an eye witness account and puts some I's in it

Overall impression of piece I could write a book in response to this, but I choose not to

Grammatical and spelling errors Reads well.

What I liked?*Smile* You have the shakespearean sonnet down to a science. Meter and rhyme are just right. You have used imagery and not words to tell what your vision of the future is

Points to Ponder:*Idea* You are making an assumption that the Earth will end in a normal clock running down fashion. Revelations says quite differently, although it never really ends as Heaven comes down to Earth in Jerusalem. Their is a shout an eventually, it is Jesus is Lord--not man

How the piece made me feel Is this a glimpse of Revelations. It too is full of imagery--most of it quite frightening. Most argue that it is not for Christians. There is strength on both sides of the argument. The Book does talk of end of time plagues. My way of thinking is that this is a precursor of coming attraction

What I liked?*Smile*: This is comprehensive. You know your history pretty well, but perhaps one or two things well covered is best.

Points to Ponder:*Idea* You could write a book on all you have written here. The essay needs a reason for being written and something to propel the reader through it. Too much is covered with no way to say how they all get together. You hVW BLITZKRIEG on the Western frontier. Definitely a mixed metaphor. Hitler's forces were onCrystal Meth. You have some Japannest imagery too.. Perhaps mentioningmanifest destiny would be more appropriate

Who doesn't know despair? Most would get this. I think poetry is sometimes limiting in its format. We can just say it. There is no doubt about how you feel. Poetry or not poetry, most would get it> I think there is something more and beyond fear. (False Expectations appearing real)

This is an emotional collage. It is good poetry, regardless of the format.

We look at the sun on a 100 degree day and say, "Wow, that's bright!" There has to be more than me. I think we can agree. We probably can't just understand life in terms of today. There is more

This is a piece about our most precious commodity. A lot of the world doesn't have it Water purification machines are relatively cheap. We are a huge percent water. You are right

Often people use rhyme to try and give more rhythm to the piece. It could be a bit over done here with 4 out of five lines rhyming.

This is the stuff of life and most in the west take it for granted.. I started writing early so I appreciate you are writing something substantial.

This is an amibitious undertaking. What is God and His plan like? You mention days and God admonition that time is not what we think of it. There is scripture to back the claim, but I am not sure it comes into play here. Babies and generations take a certain amount of time. Generations in that time took 30 to 40 years. Seven is considered a holy number to the Jewish mind. It is a number suggesting completeness.

You talk about angels declaring God's plan. That is a good summation of what is going on here..

Sometimes the gift is seen with human eyes. The family wanted him to return home from preaching. God's ways do take time.

I like the people who break down responsibility to response and ability. We have a lot more power than we realize--even on a small scale. Our nearest beach in Idaho is 550 miles away. Police did eventually shut down some of these escapades. I amnot sure if knowing is enough. Obviously this is your prompt.

This is pretty cool and brings back my days on an AOE. Ammunition Oil and nuclear war heads. They were paying us 27 cents an hour, when we would dock in Long Beach to Off Load. They were paid a zillion dollars in hazzard pay.

We had drills where we dropped just about everything imaginagle down an elevator shaft. What would you do? It took forever. I was a medical corpsman so I didn't have much to do, except think.

I too like your Navy of today. Is there a take away from this? You have the particulars down here really well. Not too many grandparents in the Navy today

Cool piece. I have been wrestling with things like this myself. I have the Covid doldrums, but maybe it is a time to be better..

A couple of things might make this read better. Sound of life, my life

My generation started all the lines with a cap. if it is a continued sentence, it might be better to have the continuation lower case

Life is wild and has a force all of its own. I like that. Maybe sometimes we stifle the flow.

This is cool. Kids drive you batty so why not a story about a kid bat? I remember my learning bicycles 6 decades ago. We didn't emphasize helmets at all. I am not even sure if we had them. We should have. I am sure my Early Alzheimers would be better. I love your emphasis.

Conversations seem real and authentic. Check that they all start with a cap. Some don't.

When you go to publish (and you should) you should have pictures. Even a good highschooler could probably do it. Most publishers do have their own

I have a couple of Kid stories. Love your opinion

Overall impression of piece: Talk about a message for today. Everybody has a truth and by there way of thinking, the only truth. What is truth is asked of Pilot at Jesus trial. Obviously, for Pilate, truth is power. Truth had nothing to do with being true. It wasn't a consideration

Points to Ponder:*Idea* You have a lot here. I would focus on mainly one thing that tells your point. Obviously, you know your word. Give examples of how this works in real life. If you can't hear from God, what good is he? He is just hypothetical and doesn't care enough to return his phone calls

How the piece made me feelI+ Elijah hearing the still small voice that wasn't the thunder and lightning is probably a good place to start. What does it sound like? People need guidance. Jesus said, "You will know the truth and the truth will set you free. Use any of this that you find useful. You don't have to give credit. Jesus is the author of the faith

What a cool piece. We were able to experience this along with your reminiscence. It felt real. I do think nature is an optimum place to see God. He made it. Why can't it be a temple? God does not live in house built by hands.

Men think they have the only way to see God. I think it goes back to Paul's injunction against women speaking in church. It may have worked in first century Greece, but there is a reason why somany are articulate and well educated.. You only don't speak if you don't have anything to say. I see some of that prejudice here. it can be engrained in us

God is bigger than that. Many Godly attributes are feminine (Like those of the Holy Spirit) We need truth, but sometimes we just need to know we aren't alone.

Joe kind of sneaks up on me. I am not really sure what he was about.

Very interesting. I understand life changing evens. My Mother died when I was eight and my step Mom was not much older than my older sister. You havelower case i's and upper case. Most immature think they are vastly more important than they really are.. You are right. It is a progression of what we decide to do and be. I am respsonsible forloving and being the proper sort of person.

A lot of us have monsters under the bed. This gets at that with openness and candor.

Sensuous truths seems to work. Nature is beautiful and we can get caught up in it, even if it is the rhythm of turtles doing their thing. It is almost hypnotic. Your cadence seems to bring that out. We think everything is cut and dried, but their is a mystery to most of it.

Norma Jean Baker became a phenomenon and made tons of money. Today we know her as Marilyn Monroe. She worked in a munitions factory during WW2. It would have been hard to keep my mind on the work. We live in a house that was built in 1953. It is iconic. We paid a lot of money in 1996 because it fit our life style. Who are we is not how we look or what we do.

I'd tell story to prove your point.

This is fun. I do know people like this--except for the molting part. I havae been a toastmaster for 35 years so we deal with stuff like this. Perhaps everything being electronic will have some positive results.

Grammar is fine. Reads well. Interesting twist on molting. I have never had anyone molt while giving a speech

I love this, but perhaps there is more. Michelangelo was asked how created his statue David. He said he chipped away everything that was not David. I think we too are to be perfect. We write sincerely on all our letters. The latin, is without wax. The poor sculptors filled in any defects with wax which worked, except on hot days. The best were sine era.

I guess the question I get out of this is whether we want to be waxy and are we ready to be what God ordained us to be?

I like this. I can't say any of this is wrong. There are weird people out there, but reality will tell us: we are all weird.

Founding America was far from egalitarian. You had to own land to vote. Women don't vote until 1926 and their is horrendous conflict. Western States like Idaho and Wyoming are the fourth and first to ratify--probably they didn't have many women

I guess what I am saying is that this is a process. There is severe inequality inAmerica. Many blacks are incarcerated. You can make a nice neat formula, but it is more than this. I am sure we are more than a few generations from true equality

This is a really cool piece. You worked at it. You understand nature. I have a biology background and it reminds mewhat I am missing. Are we as a society missing wonder? Are we so busy looking at our phones we miss what is all around us. I discovered my backyard during covid. There is a lot going on

I went to Hagerman National monument here in Idaho. Today it is semidesert.. A million years ago it had a lake with so much water, the great flood would resculpt the entire area.. It had a whole host of exotic animals

Bonds are what nature provides us. Maybe. I think we have to be able to reach out and feel them

I don't know anything about you and why you are writing. Fill in your bio. It helps us as reviewers. It looks like you have quotes in this without quote marks. Most of us are English speaking (not all) so translate any foreign words. Detective Yamamoto seems like a title. Capitalize detective. I am not sure why inspector is there

This is a hard thing to wrote in poetic form. How many riots have we had because people are being abused or perceive that they are. We have fought for equal power in our culture for a long time. Women didn't get the vote until about 1926. Black-white equality couldn't even be talked about until the 60's. We have power. We can raise hell.

Even when the country was formed, you had to be a landowner to vote. That changed with Andrew Jackson. They had a big party in the Whitehouse. It was supposedly the beginning of a new day

Obviously, it was not. Your images are good, but do they tell the story? This is too important for me not to be clear.
